Not being negative, the news alone will boost confidence and ‘maybe’ get funds/pensions on board but it won’t show on the books for years to come.

I’ve heard it will be 100% contact from UK treasury to RR under Shapps (announced end of September).

250m (already funded via match funding) with a rather ridiculous bursary fund through GB Nuclear.

Ridiculous as RR will draw down whatever they need as and when so a grant system would have been preferable.

Set marked for stage 2 completion by Jan 2024 on RR’s behalf.

Put it this way, you won’t hear Tufan moaning about lack of government support from now on.

Yeah, that was what I thought - latest update I have is a 100% RR contract.

So it looks like I was wrong. I guessed Shapps would give 20% away from RR. From what I'm hearing, it's almost a done deal with 100% to RR.

I'm currently at 69% over 3 years which is not the best if we talk about instant winners (gamblers) but very good for me in my LTH approach to selling up come Feb 2025 (I'm ahead of the goal I set myself).

I set a goal, I'm ahead of the game - that can't be bad can it?

I constantly look at my positions, ensure I'm doing what I need to do, and plow on (making changes along the way)

All that said, I'm head strong on £7 come Feb 2025. Don't get me wrong, that will triple what I need but I'm not wrong.

I’ll back you up on everything you said to be honest. You found a problematic economic issue and you scrutinised it. I like that.

The only thing we’ll disagree on is nature of markets to take a nill dividend stock to and instant success.

In all seriousness, has anyone looked at volumes traded for the last few months? Even with the spike in RR sp, it’s massively down.

I used to see 50-60 volume, look at it today….

People are sitting on hands in fear of interest rises etc.

I’m really hoping RR goes down so I can achieve my level of top up - then I’ll sit back for 18 months 👍👍
