I thought Ed's plan was to get this cash flow positive and then use that to slowly build the company up. First one done and producing and now this? Can't understand it. What do you make of our new 5% shareholder, Quindell? Do you know anything of him? Noticed he also holds 7.9% of MILA (a shell/reverse takeover play from what I hear) and 6.8% of SOP about which I know little (believe they have a pile of cash to spend and directors not taking a salary and looking for the right energy sector company/project to take on). Starting in Aug this year he bought MILA in 3 tranches at all time lows. He bought SOP in 3 tranches, most recently buying on a dip to all time lows. If his activity in these two is anything to go by he will increase his stake in RLD incrementally. Hopefully there will be no more dips of which he can take advantage! He may even overtake the Quindells at this rate ;) Take you're continuing to hold long and strong?

If I were trying give benefit of doubt and find a justification for this casual and frankly disrespectful volte face re important Q3 operational target in favour of some housekeeping, it would be that the recent positioning of the company as an ethical role model within the mining industry requires whiter than white behaviour when it comes to all regulations, especially environmental. Especially in a liberal democracy with a free press. Nothing the press love more than taking down a hypocrite. Perhaps this is linked to the Queensland Gov linked opportunities about which we've heard?

We'll have to wait and see what the opportunities look like before we can judge I suppose. However, if dilution at lower price I am sure we'll see those on the board continue to increase their stake and overall control of Richland with deferred wages etc. Clearly a strategy based on previous dilutions and overall has to be positive for the company long term and shareholders (certainly those who buy in from lowest levels)? Points to a large pay day for board, but when? Also worth noting we are called Richland Resources and our website is Richland Gemstones not Richland Sapphires. I can see us expanding our product range perhaps working with Queensland Gov to pick up other existing, dormant and unloved mines. It's (all but) worked once. This isn't just illegal mining though is it? They stated operational profitability by July, then Q4, then seem to have casually adandoned this as a goal putting forward two justifications: 1).ad hoc sales events mean then can make more money by taking advantage of sapphire price moves which are depressed currently and 2) they decided to do some overhaul work which sounds seasonal in nature but was never previously mentioned. Considering this work would have a material impact on operational profitability target announced by the company, you would think they'd have been compelled to mention it as soon as it was deemed necessary? Also if seasonal, wouldn't it have been known? I bought in on the company's achievable profitability ambitions which were clearly communicated to shareholders and I am really disappointed at how casually they've abandoned this and simultaneously trashed the sp. Now mention of new opportunities are cropping up, which to me suggests spending which can only mean fund raising and dilution. I have a lot of respect for Ed Nealon but what they've done here feels like bad form. Is anyone reading this differently to me? am I being too negative based on my mounting losses? Willing to be convinced otherwise and apologies if I've got anything wrong.

Bid, nice one. Had you bought online previously? If so, did you find the Trust pilot page before and did it influence your decision? Finally, if you've bought before elsewhere, how did experience compare? The level of service strikes me as very high end and the people buying seem like wealthy westerners for whom ethically sourced stones are important. Who wants to buy a precious and meaningful gift for a loved one if they can't be sure if it's come at the expense of another's misery e.g. forced child labourers etc. People will pay more for that (even though it sounds like we're offering a discount compared to say a high end jewellers? Do we know how much?), local governments with CSR policies (Queensland) will praise them and reward them to encourage other players to follow suit (carrot). We have a niche high end product being delivered to market in an innovative, low cost way and at a discount to retailers. Now all we need is to build Trust and Brand by marketing in the right channels and ideally a classy celeb or two to wear / promote your product (perhaps pay them in gemstones!). Granted those looking at gems for investment may be less picky. I think the Queensland move and references to State Gov could be significant.

Quindell - Thanks for singlehandedly propping up sp, mate. I could see the 'profitability by' date had slipped from recent RNSs, but didn't think too much if it. You clearly see this as a blip as opposed to anything more substantial. Given your bullish buying this AM and well regarded comments on this board, would value your reasoning and what you think happens next in terms of news flow? Thanks for posting research. This guy knows how business works. If he did a dodgy deal everyone would know about it and no-one else would touch him. Given the precariousness for a foreign mining company operating in Tanzania (I am in RLD and know their troubled history there), Kabunga is perfectly placed to bring all sides together and his presence derisks things from an outsider's perspective. His involvement bodes well. Knowing his predilection for long equity stakes in the companies in question and low director fees, we can not only deduce that he's in it for the long term big bucks but that he is confident he can take it all the way in that risky jurisdiction.
