Fwiw on the auction app it says for our lot "ATTENTION! IT'S NOT.POSSIBLE ANYMORE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SALE. First-price sealed-bid auction of 7/25/2018 as it has already taken place" so bids are in.
That's true. How long do these things usually take? I think initially it was a review of potential acquisitions which then moved to due diligence on 1 those targets. May have been wiser not to notify shareholders about the review before it started. Better to do it quietly and if/when they found something they liked, then announce review and that due diligence underway. Clock wouldn't have been ticking quite so long then. They have Possehl providing finance for acquisitions now, so it is much more likely to happen and it'll be a producing or near-producing fluorspar asset, so we can get some revenues coming in. This could be the next big news that takes the sp back up. Could happen any time. I suppose placing equally likely at some point...when do we think the current cash will run out? If placing first, I will move a good % of funds here again for the likely 300% move.
Not pretty, agreed. But you have to see this as an opportunity - a minor blip has led to an unresearchedrreaction. I think people have seen the word 'Reindeer' and lost their sh**. I'm very confident this hurdle will be overcome.

Kallak is Norrbotten County. KYRKBERGET is in Vasterbotten.
Just to put some perspective on what a CAB (County Administration Board) is and its role. The main aim of the County Administrative Board is to fulfil the goals set in national politics by the Riksdag and the Government, to co-ordinate the interests of the county, to promote the development of the county, to establish regional goals, and to safeguard the due process of law in the handling of each case. The County Administrative Board is a Government Agency headed by a Governor (appointed by government). This isn't the same as a County Council, which might be subject to the ebb and flow of politics and public opinion. These guys see to it that Gov strategy is implemented locally with due regard to that region and its nuances. Read about Sweden's mining strategy/goals here. short version is they want it to grow government.se/49b757/contentassets/78bb6c6324bf43158d7c153ebf2a4611/swedens-minerals-strategy.-for-sustainable-use-of-swedens-mineral-resources-that-creates-growth-throughout-the-country-complete-version Other angle is the critical mineral at stake here; fluorspar. Its importance to the EU was highlighted recently on the SGU website https://www.sgu.se/om-sgu/nyheter/2018/maj/sgu-bidrar-till-okad-kunskap-om-kritiska-ravaror-i-eu/
(Google translate needed). This is a hurdle only.

Not really true Chukkers. We actually overcame the Reindeer issue. That 'was' history. The curve ball for Kyrkberget was the Norra Karr ruling by the Supreme Court which meant our Granted Licence was sent back through the application process. Reindeer have now reemerged unfortunately, but if they're happy with a gurt big Fluorspar mine next door to a nature reserve containing protected species of plant there will surely be a way to make them happy with a tailings facility somewhere else. I have little knowledge of these facilities, so if anyone has any insight on what the issues might be and how TYM might overcome them, I'd be interested in some conjecture!
I meant 'decision from CAB'. Previous application (pre-Supreme Court ruling driven by Norra Karr/LeadingEdge case) they were happy that Kyrkberget and reindeer could get along fine. Norra Karr decision said 'No, applciation can't jsut be based on the concession area. The surrounding areas used by the mining operations must be considered e.g. buildings, tailings facilities etc.'. We've done some work - obviously not good enough - to adjust our planning and come up short. We'll pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and go again. We have good relations with our CAB, unlike Beowulf over at Kallak. Hopefully, we can work constructively with CAB's team to figure out a way forward. They want this as much as we do! Jobs, taxes, security. Have a look at recent Storumans CAB decisions re mining... pro pro pro. Sadly, I think when you are dealing with very new rulings / legislation (don't attack me if i'm using wrong words here, but you know what i mean) often clarifications are needed and it isn't straight forward. Lawyers base everything they do on previous case history. This is all new territory now. Literally.
I'm really surprised by this ruling from the CAB as they've previously been very supportive of the Kyrkberget Permit. It is clearly a direct result of the Supreme Court decision to ensure that the used area immediately around the mine itself be considered within the permit application i.e. buildings such as this Tailings Facility. The Storumans CAB are pro-mining, especially compared with Council Admin Board peers to the North and Northwest. They will be interpreting the legal information they have in light of the new ruling from Supreme Court and obviously their experts disagree with Tertiary's experts regarding the location of the Tailing Facility http://www.tertiaryminerals.com/images/large/project-62.jpg This is an unwelcome hurdle, but it is only that. The key words are "In its current form". A very good opportunity to top up imho. Do not forget that if/once the permit is approved, it will be contested for one final time by Sami and Environmental groups. Only after that will we get full green light. As others have said elsewhere, TYM is about much more than Kyrkberget, so plenty of rerate catalysts.
Just got this from my new (as of May '18) provider; the wacky 'Outfox the Market'.... "Dear Customer, Since February 2018, wholesale energy costs have risen substantially with gas and electricity prices increasing by 22%. In light of this, we have made the unavoidable decision to raise the price you pay for your energy by 6.5%*.
What is happening?
For the average household on a dual fuel tariff, this will add £4.41 a month or £52.92 a year to your bill. These changes will come into effect on the 8th August 2018.
We are keeping this increase as low as we can for our customers and remain committed to providing wholesale priced energy, together with supplying your home with 100% green, renewable wind electricity - produced right here in the UK.Why have wholesale prices increased?
The cold winter and reduced gas production has left gas storage levels at their lowest in five years.
The UK is still dependent on gas-fired power plants for electricity generation. Therefore, higher gas prices result in higher electricity prices.
Demand for injection into storage has kept the price of gas high even as summer arrives and we are using less gas."
"The committee has also urged King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy to work with stakeholders to identify local reserves of uranium ore and their exploitation to meet domestic demand in the future." https://www.zawya.com/mena/en/story/Saudi_Shoura_Council_concentrates_on_Ministry_of_Defense_and_antifraud_regulations-ZAWYA20180628043932/
I'm in from .55-.60 last year and on a free ride, so for me personally this is one of the risers in my portfolio. I guess your perspective is driven by your entry point. If I'd been in since 12p I'd be gutted although I would've averaged down hard by now- although that's easy to say if you haven't lived with this stock since 2012!. All the macro factors point to big turn around here, starting with Swedish permit which should be sorted this year imho, which I hope will be the catalyst for rerate.
And there's someone else I need to introduce to my good old friend, Phil Turr.
The first to pull out/undermine the deal would be destroying their relationship with Mozambique government and department of energy and handing all the political and commercial capital to the other side. Business is business. The deal goes ahead imho.
Can't tell if this is sincere or dripping in sarcasm. I guess it depends when you bought in and how well you know "pat" :)
Hmm some interesting deletions on the thread. I continue to hold my free ride! GLA.
Good Morning Mineralex, agree with GLR, good to have a domain expert reaching same conclusions. Without being too specific, I'd be interest to know more about your experience/background, as you sound like you know your stuff. Aside: I know you have a Swedish contact. I wondered what the best news resource would be for Swedish parliamentary discussions on mining generally? My previous attempts to find any good info have fallen short. ATB, MT
GLR, Sami have appealed every decision so far, so I think that tactic is unlikely to change. They are attempting to put off other potential mining projects by the sheer weight (and wait!), cost and uncertainty built into the current legal process. As far as I'm aware, Kyrkberget would be 1st new, as opposed to extension of existing, mine in Sweden in 10yrs. Fact check probably required on that. Appeal against Bergsstaten's decision (about an application for exploitation permit) can be made to the government and I'm sure that will happen. It will fail because of the unique circumstances surrounding our application and the mineral we will extract and when the final appeal does fail, we will rerate. TYM has reached and passed its inflection point. The slide down was ugly, the climb back up will be gorgeous. A stock to pick up while others are bored and things are quiet and the sp is subdued. Imho dyor.
Lurker, so what to you think is realistic sp on JDA?
Btw my posts were highlighting that SGU had brand new articles on the critical mineral situation - for no apparent reason - and wondering whether a positioning piece ahead of Kyrkberget decision. Everyone knows about the critical mineral status.
