Well OPP turned out to be a flOPP. What a waste of time/money. It obviously stank to high heaven, but you thought that they must be able to recover something. Some very clever, cross jurisdictional, opaque, white collar crime at work here. Criminal charges should be brought. Still, we all knew the risks! Time to move on.

Sold out of NCCL apart from nominal sum in SIPP. Cue JDA and spike. I just think this is the Chinese gov reconsidering the belt and road CO2 impact. That thing was ready to sign at the last belt and road summit imho.

I simply don't believe NCCL's delay is between the parties involved. I think they were ready to sign in Beijing and China is revisiting its Belt and Road CO2 footprint. I think this is really touch and go. If China can supply Moz with that additional power using Gas, for example, I think they'll kill it regardless of how much Moz Gov or CMEC want it. I think Hanno has been aware of the risk for a while hence the diversification into green energy. I am going to derisk further tomo, if time allows. Hope I'm wrong on this.

I still have big % exposure in ISA and Junior ISAs, had to scale back on SIPP though. Feeling more positive after reread of RNS and Hanno interview, but much more relaxed now I've reduced SIPP exposure, which was prob too great tbh.

NCCL I sold 75% today. There is no way all parties didn't arrive in Beijing to sign that deal incl Moz Gov. The delay imho is due to 1 or 2 things : Chinese government and this... https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/apr/25/belt-and-road-summit-puts-spotlight-on-chinese-coal-funding they are deciding which coal projects get cut. They could be assessing where alt fuels in various countries to replace coal. The pressure from other belt and road stakeholders for green development is massive. Either that or the Moz President couldn't be seen signing a JDA for a coal to power play when part of his country is knee deep in water due unprecedented 2nd Cyclone drive by global warming. Big coal projects were signed off at Belt and road and I think this still gets done, but risk profile just went up a lot for me.

Someone had 1m OPP yest morning so looks like we have a new member of the OPPortunists club. Haven't seen any sells since Cam left so assume he's leaving that one to stew.

Hey scot he said 'for good', but he has such a knack for stock picking it seems a shame to give up forever... Sad times. Will be missed on here for sure.
