So is the consensus that the 1-2m sells occuring over past couple of weeks are Riverfort and YA? They converted £100k (26m shares) of the £700k loan into shares at price of .38p so selling for tidy /quick profit around .5p. we must've had around 20m in chunky sells since then... So, based on behaviour elsewhere, do we think they'll keep doing this consecutively another 6 times? And how long do we think it'll take to clear? Certainly keeping a lid on the sp as things hot up, not that I'd suggest for a second that that's intentional.
Phwoarrrr
There could be a thousand reasons, MrT. The Ts&Cs for these funds will run into 100 pages of small font text. EU are bureaucracy thrice distilled. It'll be something in the small print that isn't in place yet. We just don't know.
£1-2m is a tiny, tiny % of this EU funding pot. If you could present evidence that all UK entities in similar situation to INFA are having their funds withheld, then you'd have my attention.
Great research
Government (Westminster and absent Stormont) are not about to let this fail, giving the broader political context. This is rare good news story amidst the gloom. We have bought more than publicity...
Here's hopin, low 50s is still close enough to the jetty to jump on board. Our voyage will be long! Still a good price, from someone who was in before the requisition...
Front page of BBC News website. And just like that, InfraStrata - playing the knight in shining armour role - swoops in to save this piece of NI's heritage/history to the relief of ALL political parties. Its project is now known by most of Northern Ireland and more importantly will have their good will/backing. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-49889573 very shrewd and opportunistic purchase of an iconic asset from administrator at low price and also reduces capex across this and future projects. Worth it for PR value alone.
Hi Dodger, I put in several buys in different accounts all before 8:05am, yet no blue... Odd. Why might this be? Biggest news here imho is (unprecedented?) comment by the Secretary of State for N.I. This is a masterstroke by JW which ties the future of one of N.I's most renowned companies / workforces to the success of the InfraStrata Islandmagee project. Additionally, it tackles another criticism of the project, which is the lack of jobs for locals. 60 heads in islandmagee post-construction increased over 100% and important jobs too which enable traditional industry to continue. Great public relations. Funding is interesting and YA are usually bad news if memory serves, but a major risk to this project has always been political. Finally, I've closed many positions recently, but energy security is critical for Britain, Brexit or no Brexit. Risk v reward balance just tipped again here imho. Had to top up.
Got that wrong... Lol
Badum tsshhh!
All parties arrived in Beijing to sign JDA. Something changed from either Moz or China Gov. Companies all aligned as we can see. My favourite at 5/6 is that Moz President couldn't be seen signing a JDA for a coal to power play when part of his country is knee deep in water due unprecedented 2nd Cyclone in one season, driven by global warming. GLA
Insane analogy, dawksi. One to report/remove asap.
I'm glad we're talking about 2 final equity providers. Perhaps sanity being restored. Nice update and no mention of the unmentionable, which means it isn't material.
Given material news has to be released in a timely fashion, we could get an unprecedented roll of.good news if very lucky. Imagine, Equity finance, followed by Offtake, followed by debt finance, etc etc? The share price could get heady v quickly. I'd imagine a higher sp if different RNSs over several days/weeks rather than big hit RNS.
Nice summary of upcoming news. Not even mentioned Offtake negotiations. Aren't they due soon?!
you'd imagine...
Andy has gone from website. he was non board CFO, so I guess no regulatory announcement required.
:p
Lol. Thanks Spud. Tidd, I do enjoy a good John le Carre and yes, I knew it would come across as paranoid, but actually these things are occurring systematically across a wide breadth of channels and have been for a while. One of the devastating strengths of such non-linear warfare is that it is very easy to dismiss claims as farfetched and paranoid. You just have to look at the net effect in terms of strategic geo-political advantage to see that these games are afoot and we are losing, heavily. I am usually pretty good at figuring out the plot of a movie in the first 20mins... fingers crossed and no more from me. I've said what I wanted to say. People must do what they think is right. ATB
