That means FTSE 100, right?
Uranium price just hit highest level in 2.5yrs according to FT.
They've had the Chinese in exploring / evaluating Uranium deposits in Saudi for a while http://en.people.cn/n3/2017/0829/c90000-9261849.html
Some competition out there in the fluorspar acquisition game https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/205355/maxtech-ventures-moves-into-fluorspar-as-it-s-poised-to-buy-american-strategic-metals-205355.html
"#NCCL well positioned as one of the most advanced projects" so not 'the most advanced' or does it mean they're not sure who is?. Does anyone have any insight on the competitors as 'well positioned' again suggests competitors. Also, this number 1350 is very specific. How does that relate to the previous timeline documents provide by the authorities?
Tertiary Middle East limited filings all up-to-date at company's house, so they clearly haven't lost hope... Just need a change in the macro... Oh look, a change in the macro.
https://ucergy.com/2018/09/24/perspectives-from-the-iaea-general-conference/amp/ Saudi Insider and award winning energy scientist, Dr Y Alshamarri who has friends and sponsors at the very top.in Saudi, published this recently. "Other countries in the Middle East are on-track in introducing nuclear energy into their energy mix including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, and Egypt. Furthermore, exploration for uranium resources is an area of interest in the Middle East, as highlighted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a resource-rich country, which is planning to make a full use of its natural resources by exploring for uranium mines. Such exploration would enable supplying fuel of its planned nuclear power reactors, locally without a need for foreign imports." Tertiary (Middle East) has a claim to a mining license at Ghurayyah in Saudi, a massive Tantalum-Niobum REE project which also contains 45,700 tonnes U (inferred) http://www.wise-uranium.org/uoasi.html
Thanks rev. Makes sense.
I'm curious as to why someone would be accumulating this share with multiple sub £100 trades instead of just putting through one larger trade. Each trade costs me approx £8-10. They're losing way more than they need to given their small investment. Anyone have any ideas?
I was very relieved to see the following Tweet from GE Africa account yesterday after 12 days of radio silence, which overlapped with a changing of the guard at GE. Old GE CEO fired (shortest tenure in GE history of 14months) and replaced by an outsider Mr Culp plus the unrelated retirement of GE Africa's President and CEO of 7 years a few days earlier "GE Africa

Do any knowledgable posters who know the Power Generation business inside out have any thoughts on new GE CEO/chairman and further changes he might make to power business? The way I'm reading it is strategy remains same as Flannery, but on speed. Spin off healthcare etc leaving core Power business. They have to make it successful. assuming Culp will double down on the high growth markets of Africa and Asia and coal? My reading of situation is NCCL Tete deal is unaffected. GE need these high margin deals that pay off long term?
This could come together imminently given it's the Moz Gov driving for the aggressive time lines. A great buy in opportunity for those who know the detail.
Thanks for replies chaps. That was my assumption also, Spud. Wonder if Whyms RNS was related to bumping into old ex INFA director...I'm assuming that director must be Andrew Hindle ex-CEO. He was only significant share holder from previous BOD. On 27 Feb 2017 he had 9,737,625 shares which was at that point 2.78%.
Was this guy an ex director of INFA? I can see he's director at Encore Exploration...
Sorry for lazy q but just at work. What's the cash position like? How long will current funds last? Thanks in advance
Infa sp often dips like this just prior to a placing where they've legally been allowed to sound or version investors inside MAR. If so perhaps an acquisition has been identified and they're further along the diversification/derisking route than we thought...
Still free but seemingly not faultless cos a few RNSs haven't come through for me
Fwiw I don't use LSE. I use RNS Alerts which until this week has been free and near faultless
Mate, I think everyone is on the new bb following the ticker change to RMS :) I only checked this page accidentally
