Ah 7dig. I have some experience of this one as looked into investing previous. software (my game). Cams probably right about the spike, ppl love a come back story. When I left my 1st proper job after uni I'd saved about £35k in pension. I switched to a SIPP at that point. It dipped as low as £17k thanks to some reckless 'investments' incl POL, BZT, RLD. Despite adding another £15k to it from wages in 6 years since, it sits at £38k (although last week was £45k!). Had I not attempted to self invest I would be sitting on £50k in straight savibgs, plus 6yrs of compound interest.adjust for general stock market performance and call it an £45k. Not great. But when you factor in the hours I've invested, it doesn't bear thinking about. Could've established / be running my own business now if used time towards that. Addiction has Def played a part for me. I stopped chasing tips a long time ago, but addiction to the story/the chase/the what might be still there. Smart phone also has played it's part. One thing I have learnt is starting early is the key. Both my girls had SIPPs from birth and i pay in every month. That additional 20years of compound interest should take care of their retirement easily. They can't access til they're 55 and I'm not going to tell them til they're 40.

Ok so I've been in CASP (previous RXP) since 2014. Spiked. No placings and complex corporate strategy feels to me like it's just being completed before Kaboom. I think it stinks to high heaven but I wondered if some fresh eyes might be a good idea. It's at its low currently, but as I said all feels staged. Always has. I think they're moving to end game where everything flows and the owners get rich as and sp goes ballistic or they go private and then get rich. Either way they get rich(er). Thoughts welcome

Thanks mate. Needed a break INFA is the first proper rerate (imho) I've experienced. It's feels different to a spike. It's the market gradually attempting to find the right level based on recent progress. I could attempt to trade this, but I'd definitely f it up. Things materially changed before Christmas with offtake and offers of equity. V interesting to see how long it's taken since then to be reflected in sp. So insightful to see that smarter investers than I have taken zero risk, stepping in after that material news at (relatively) the last minute for the fireworks. They won't have the rock bottom shares .24 but they still got in around .60-.70 before it went to 2.1... NCCL and CLNR feel in similar territory now.

I've got used to long holds now :) can pay off handsomely. Here's hoping
