Another new vertical market for STAR. Software is sometimes effortless applicable to other companies and industries , all you need are similar fundamentals e.g. movement of valuable things. STAR rising

I've not invested a great deal in STAR/RMS to be fair, but they both do feel like they're turning a corner. Both longs, so we'll see. May top up on these lows once a SIPP transfer has gone through. Glad you've joined me in CLNR. Also feels on the verge after a long drawn out period of waiting. Exclusivity was big. Extension at this stage suggests they're very interested and want to close it out. Similar story for NCCL. Final stretch now and ppl can still get 5p. Surprising.

A lot has changed at AERO now RMS. New BOD. They're serial turnaround merchants, I believe. Stripped everything right back, culled all loss making elements of business and has moved into new markets. Similar to INFA in a way i.e. a serial dog, on its knees, but new BOD with skin in game and track record have turned it on its head. STAR is the one I'm less confident on, but the tech looks great and recently done a deal.with Bosch which will stock their product as an own brand I believe. Israeli tech with one product similar to MWE's IoT irrigation system by the looks of it; cropx. V close to profitability now

I should also credit Riddler for the STAR and RMS tips. I think they've been slow burners but now primed.

Also in NCCL. Waiting patiently approx 18months. Bought in after previous SEP? deal fell through. GE and CMEC are the real deal and GE seems to be holding up after recent slide (incidentally up 15% today!). So, VOD looks like the best long term play? Is that concensus? Will investigate

The two tech plays I'm invested in are RMS previously AERO (now a transformed business from unicorn Drone play to applicable surveying and monitoring soft/hardware play again breaking into multiple diverse and new markets.) but still near all time lows and STAR (very cool IoT play with multiple cutting edge products in multiple, diverse and most interesting - new - markets with blue chip partners. STAR at a great buy in price based on historic sp - just got new nomad.

Of the Divi payers above which do you think is best opportunity long term? Might get one for girls' SIPPs

Ok opinions welcome on this. Oil and gas has traditionally been the go-to sector for high risk speculation. Given Paris climate agreement and global political direction of travel, large institutional investors pulling out of carbon altogether, many known discoveries already likely to remain in the ground forever ... Is oil still the right sector for such speculation? I know it'll be required along with coal for many years to come, but just wondering if it's an elastic memory thing, with PIs like us continuing to buy a ticket for a ride that doesn't deliver the same thrill anymore and is being getting a bit rickety? Is it a case of looking around you and seeing more and more ppl backing away and making sure you're not one of the last ones to cotton on? This is from someone in CASP (RXP) since 2014 and CLNR which tbf is gas play.

What ifs. I made a plan which was to wait for the outcome of the equity and offtake negotiations and sell on each spike and I'm grimly clinging on to that plan. EU funding is a sideshow imho. Doesn't mean it doesn't hurt though I can tell you! I would've doubled my holding had I played it perfectly. New rule: sell 20% on an unexpected spike irrespective of plan?
