Has PS300306 not read the company's new strategy which they announced nearly two years ago? They will not be handing out equity to contractors as well as cash. Unless I am mistaken they have costed initial development at 40 million euros (quotes from contractors?) - subsequent expenses will likewise be paid from oil and gas revenue. Anyone disagree? It is likely that the price of oil will remain high for the next few years at least. We must all hope so.

Every word in RNSs is carefully weighed, not only by us but by would-be buyers. Good to know that the BoD can wait for (a) higher price(s) and not be hurried! The increasing platinum price is very encouraging for us - less so for buyers whose position becomes less and less comfortable in negotiations. It is certainly wise to slap down certain individuals on this board by referring to the contents of RNSs as often as necessary. They have their reasons for not wanting us to be reminded of the facts.

'We expect potential buyers to remain anonymous until --' I wonder why they felt it necessary to include this in the September RNS? Is it not a given in the circumstances? Are they warning buyers not to try to force the pace by going public in some way? They reserved the right in an early RNS to remove any prospective buyer from consideration for any reason and at their sole discretion. What do others think?

Quite rightly the German and French negotiators could not in those circumstances insist on the Ukrainians withdrawing any heavy weapons they had at that time. The Russian leadership (but not the Russian people as a whole) are getting what they richly deserve.
