If LOGP spent $20m on Barryroe how much did PVR/BEY spend on it as opposed to other projects? They are not going to get compensation for money lost on other ventures such as Drumquin etc I think BEY no longer wants the LU ( except possibly in so far as that would mean humiliation for Ryan) . No mention of a JR. An LU by itself would not give enough confidence for the future.Other guarantees from the Irish government would be needed for outside investment to be found. They will go after the Irish government in general (the mice) and Ryan in particular, unless Ryan is immune as a private individual because he is a minister, which is possibly the case? - anyway, he is only worth 3-4million!

Am I right in believing that the case brought by Rockhopper lasted so long because the UK was still in the EU in 2017 when proceedings were initiated? Italy claimed that Rockhopper had no right to sue under International law and that the case must be dealt with under EU law, if my understanding is correct.

Anyone here well versed in that case? Ryan scuppered the 20m raise and that certainly is a great point in BEY’s favour. Can they show he did it to prevent them from having any chance at all of meeting his ridiculously high financial hurdle? The answer must be yes, I think.

There certainly are nonentities and other pot stirrers on this board like TD2 etc but the important thing is there are none on our BoD in my opinion. The BoD need to be very sure that they can get ER’s decision reversed if they are continuing to spurn a merger.It would be astonishing if BEY end up with nothing and LOGP get even half of their 120 odd million dollar claim. Would it not be foolish of LOGP to demand too much in a merger? What terms does NAH and others think would be reasonable and fair to both sides, perhaps allowing LOGP just a little extra in a nod to its more advantageous position vis-à-vis legal action?
