I used Runes to rhyme with Goons - the irony is that CS's answers are not hidden in mystery at all. Even 15 times the present share price will not be accepted by the BoD. CS mentions significant assets and himself as a significant shareholder whose interests are aligned with all genuine shareholders here. Take him at his word. When he says there are reasons to believe the sale will be completed this year that tells me that there is no insulting offer on the table. It would have been sold long long ago if the BoD were going to accept less than, say, 60-70P. It will have been made abundantly clear over the last two years to NN that they are not going to get this on the cheap. Why are they still at the table - why have they not gone away if the gap is unbridgeable? 20-30P offers? - don't make me laugh. Only malicious Goons cannot or will not read the very favourable Runes and are forced to focus on the inconsequential for want of anything better by way of genuine discussion.

I had never any hesitation in voting for all resolutions. BoD's strategy cannot be faulted.

Interesting that LOGP have not started formal proceedings, stating that they are waiting for a response from the government within 3 months. Maybe the door is still open for a deal but I do not think Boldy & Co will be all that keen.

At the very least they will play hard to get. Everything has its price of course and if LG insists on stealing Boldy's thunder - well, who knows what might be the result. Certainly LOGP are in pole position in the race for compensation.

You cannot buy shares in BEY now as they are suspended. If you are thinking of LOGP you need to read all their RNSs over the last two years and then read all about the Rockhopper v Italy case at jusmundi.com. It is very very long but extremely informative. Up to you then to decide to buy in or not, either now or later when things are clearer by the middle of August after EGM/AGMs have been held.

Let's stir the pot a bit more: the underground part only of NKT has a mid Net Present Value of ca.1.5 billion dollars. ( You may rubbish WAI if you wish - I don't). I reckon NN would be salivating at the prospect of purchasing the lot, including West Kytlim!, for 50P.
