The news on twitter from CyanConnode could/should bode well for the near to medium term prospects for CyanConnode, for smart meter orders.

This is potentially, a substantial increase in personnel, that will have to be integrated into the business in India, over the coming months.

And as CyanConnode have indicated, " ..... stay tuned ...... " for further developments.

As I mentioned earlier, opinions do tend to differ. But on one of your other points, on the " .... 40Km competitor ..... " I am sure we will be informed when they are ready.

As we know, CyanConnode have a solution that works. If and when competition comes along, I am sure that CyanConnode will deal with it.

Isn't the " Ratna has revealed CyanConnode's plans to introduce a long-range RF solution designed to benefit rural areas and overcome limitations of cellular coverage ....... " quote, included in todays RNS?

The original Omnimesh solution which provides Cellular capability, was launched during March 2020.

Since the Omnimesh Cellular solution launch, the range of the Cellular solution and I would think the solution itself, has been developed further " ..... to introduce a long-range RF solution designed to benefit rural areas and overcome limitations of Cellular coverage, along with a universal Head-End system."

So over the last three years, the Omnimesh Cellular solution has been developed further to accomodate specific challenges in India. With successful trials being carried out in Himachel Pradesh, India.

It is good to know that successful advances in product development, are still taking place.

...... has also advertised for tenders for the Appointment of Advanced Metering Infrastructure ( AMI ) Service Provider for Smart PrePaid Metering in five areas of Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. The first one is for Dhanbad and Giridih.

If you go to the " Similar Tenders " within the initial report, you will also find 4 other tenders with a requirement for a similar package for AMI Service Provider, for different regions of Ranchi. All have different Ref No's and all have different Tender Values.

It is not clear whether these tenders are connected to the IntelliSmart/Jharkhand tender, but there is movement and ongoing progress, it would seem, in Jharkhand State.

Maybe the tender has progressed to the next stage, if it is the same tender.

It is probably worth noting from the February 2023 IntelliSmart Bulletin, that two States/Regions have been removed from the March 2023 edition. The reason for this is yet to be made public.

Jharkhand and West Bengal have been removed, accounting for a total of 19 Lakhs ( 1,900,000 ) smart meters.

In the March 2023 IntelliSmart Bulletin, recently published, two States/Regions have been added. Jammu account for an 8 Lakhs ( 800,000 ) smart meter opportunity and Uttar Pradesh, accounting for a total of 219 Lakhs ( 21,900,000 ) smart meter opportunity, spread over three DISCOMS.

Uttar Pradesh DISCOMS:-

MVVNL - for a 7.9 million smart meter opportunity.
PVVNL - for a 7.8 million smart meter opportunity.
DVVNL - for a 6.2 million smart meter opportunity.

21.9 million smart meter opportunity in total, in Uttar Pradesh.

So the smart meter tenders seem to be being processed/progressed through the various stages, towards the initial order confirmation.

And then we wait for the sub-contractor orders to be confirmed.

...... Bulletin confirms that tenders are out for electric smart meters, for the States/Regions of Goa, Jammu, Kashmir, Kerala, Maharashtra, Manipur, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh, for a total of 689 Lakhs ( 68,900,000 ) smart meters.

The tenders all have " Due Dates " during April 2023.

That is an increase in smart meters out for tender, of 43% over the last months figures of 48,200,000 to 68,900,000.

You are welcome. There is and there should be some ongoing contract news that are being awarded in various states in India, from the information that we already have.

The initial award, as with the recent IntelliSmart contract award, is the first public announcement for this particular contract award. The awarded contracts to sub-contractors should follow in due course., but should be quicker to impliment now that the new system is in place.

But all in my opinion, of course.

Some interesting and exciting times ahead, I feel. And profitable, too.

So should the Partnersip develope, between Shenzhen Kaifa and CyanConnode, it will be interesting to see which market's get progressed, as Shenzhen Kaifa already have a presence in:- India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, China, Uzbekistan, Senegal, Italy, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, Portugal and Uraguay.
