It would seem that Mr. R K Singh - Union Minister - has been busy with his keynote speech as well as participating in the launch of the IntelliSmart, Third Edition of INSTINCT.

There certainly seems to be plenty going on, concerning the Smart Meter/Smart Grid Programme.

...... " Phase 1 of the Indian programme is well advanced ":-

" Of the total smart meter roll-out of 250m meters, 100m were identified as higher priority. CyanConnode's latest update confirms that tenders for c.100m meters are currently in process, compared with c.62m in November 2022."

It is good to get confirmation that progress is being made on the tender front. Any additional order confirmation, will be worth the wait, I am sure.

But confidence from CyanConnode and CyanConnode's recent anyalyst's report's, seems very positive and encouraging.

.... K-Xchange newsletter confirms that tenders are out for electric smart meters, for the States/Regions of Goa, Jharkhand, Kashmir, Kerala, Maharashtra, Manipur, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Uttarakhand and West Bengal, for a total of 482 Lakhs ( 48,200,000.)

I would have thought that if Cellular providers had genuine concerns about data protection and other concerns that they seem to have, that they would have made there views known long before now.

Cyan/CyanConnode and Partners have been providing RF Mesh networks successfully, in India for over 10+ years now.

Personally, I think it is a bit of a smoke-screen raising there concerns at this late stage.

But all in my opinion, of course.

Thank you for the timely reminder of the task that the Indian government has undertaken, with the rolling out of 250 million electric smart meters.

And the opportunity that is there for the companies that take part in the programme.

There is a list of companies that have an exposure to the SVB, on the Cyan Share News App.

At the bottom of the report is also a list of companies that have " ...... cited no banking relationship/exposure to SVB " and CyanConnode is mentioned as one of the Companies that has no exposure.

I cannot find any news headlines at the moment, linking " .... our new high flying partner ..... " with the SVB. Although there does seem to be a Crypto Currency company that has admitted to having a rather large exposure to the SVB.

Keep watching out for any news headlines.

It is good that CyanConnode has clarified the companies lack of financial exposure concerning the Silicon Valley Bank problems.

Let us hope that the situation can be resolved in some way, so that the Companies that are affected, can continue to trade, into the future.

Thank you for the information Inthetin. From the report, it would seem that " ...... farm electric motors ...... " are getting a smart meter upgrade, also. It looks like they may have a dual system of meter for the farmers domestic use and a meter also for the farmers industrial use.

We will have to see whether or not there is an RF requirement and who gets it, if there is.

But thank you for the initial information.
