RE: CC18 Feb 2023 17:40
Good afternoon tonyj,
With reference to your 12:32 post, I am comfortable knowing that CyanConnode are being awarded contracts. The values/earnings attached to those contracts, to the Company, can be taken care of within the Interim/Final Results.
New investors should also have worked out, with the information provided by CyanConnode and the various reports that are available, the progress that CyanConnode are making. Both financial and practicle.
The EDF contract for Bihar, during 2018, often discussed on this bb, for some reason, gives details of a $70 million contract price, for 5 million smart meters, of which EDF and Accenture are involved. You can work out approximately what price per unit overall that is, by doing some quick arithmetic. But not what is earned by EDF or Accenture individually. That is not published, except in their individual interim/final results, I suspect.
So we will have to disagree on that point of how much monetary information is released with other relevant information.
The first Support & Maintenance contract that CyanConnode were involved with, I seem to remember that was negotiated separately. The more recent contract, awarded to CyanConnode for Bihar, the Support & Maintenance contract, seems to have been included in the initial contract announcement. As with the two orders awarded to CyanConnode for Assam, from IntelliSmart. All inclusive of a S&M contract.
So I am happy for CyanConnode to keep the competition guessing, concerning the overall pricing structure, by whatever means possible.
CyanConnode are only doing what other companies are doing, which is good commercial practice and protecting their and shareholders interests.
LTI.
