Good morning Vas, gizmo all.
Thank you both for your information.
In answer to your question, Vas, I do not know that CyanConnode have any branding as such, on the outside of meter manufacturers meters, to high-light that CyanConnode are involved with any individual project. Or even if CyanConnode or any other RF/Solutions Provider would be allowed to display any branding on the outside of a meter?
Just a thought.

Good afternoon Vas and all,
Thank you for the Directors Talk review Vas, it was appreciated, as always.
Much of the news was covered in the Trading Update, but some information from the Directors Talk report, is very interesting.
From the report:-
" Bob Liao, Analyst at Zeus Capital said, " Our FY24 forecasts will be upgraded once the Group's audit has been finalised and we have clarity on the extent of the material outperformance of revenue. An increase in revenue has the potential to drop through to a greater proportional increase in profit. For FY25, we reiterate our forecast for revenue to jump to £34.5m with Adjusted EBITDA of £4.4m ( 12.9% margin )."
A very encouraging report Vas, I feel over all and thank you for sharing.

Good morning Vas and all,
Thank you for the information Vas, yesterday and thank you for sharing. The information from yesterday at 19:19 especially, was a good find.
As a follow-up, some information on Aniruddha V Shahapure's biography, on the CyanConnode website, highlighting his experience across Asia, Europe, Africa and Dubai as well as his experience with the BIS in India and also the Bereau Standards ( Kenya ).
http://cyanconnode.com/about/team - and then click on India for his full biography.
So an all-round experienced member of the CyanConnode India Team, which has been strengthned considerably, over recent years.
As they all are.
Good Luck Vas and all.
LTI.
Good morning Vas and all,
Thank you Vas. It is good to see that CyanConnode are involved with companies that are connected to the BIS. So thank you for sharing.

Good morning Vas and tonyj,
Just as a contribution to the discussion, from past Genus Power " Earnings Conference Call " reports, they have mentioned within some of the reports, that they still manufacture a percentage of what they call " Traditional " meters. I take that as meaning " non-smart " meters, but smarter than the proposed customers have at present.
This may also happen with other meter manufacturers, who have any stock-piles of " ..... traditional..... " meters, already manufactured.
Good Luck all.
LTI.
Good afternoon tonyj,
I am not sure that you can identify whether or not a meter is Cellular or RF, from the outside. For economies of scale, surely they would be made the same size and big enough to take any communication's that were required, for any specific project.
As far as the security is concerned, I might suggest that would be covered partially, if not totally, by CyanConnodes asymetric key, I seem to remember being mentioned sometime ago, in connection with security. But that was some years ago and CyanConnode may still have this in place, but an upgraded version.
CyanConnode do seem to develop a solution, that does what is needed.
As far as the existing Strategic Framework Agreement is concerned, I have commented previously that, hopefully, the SFA will be coming up for renegotiation/extension, in the near future. For how many Omnimesh Modules, we will have to wait and see, what happens. But an extention of sorts, would be a natural progression, for me.
And not forgetting the potential opportunity for SFA's, with other AMISP's/Smart Meter Manufacturers in the future. Logistically and economically, I would think that it is essential, for all concerned.
Take care tonyj.
LTI.
No problem Vas. As I mentioned earlier, it is easily done.
LTI.
Good morning Vas and tonyj,
Thanks for the information on Genus, Vas, but I think that this report is an order from September 2023. There is no date on the actual report. Only the " Latest News " reports at the side.
This from September 2023:-

But it is easily done.
Good Luck Vas and all.

...... was published, dated March 2024:-
http://intellismartinfra.in/uploads/Other/intellismart--k-xchange-march-2024.pdf
An interesting piece of information on pages 3 and 4, which gives a breakdown of the various stages of the smart meter tender progress in India, as of March 2024. It highlights that 57% of the smart meters have already been Awarded, from the Sanctioned pot. Many of which, sub-contractors are waiting to be informed who have been successful.
Also on page 5, DGVCL gets a mention, which may be the CyanConnode order from August 2023 and on page 7 is a general snap-shot of the IntelliSmart projects, as of March 2024.
Good Luck all.

Hello Vas and all,
Vas, Adani Enterprices Ltd and Adani Transmission Ltd, both appear on the REC Empanelment List, along with L&T, which may be the Construction arm of the L&T business, which Schneider Electric did not aquire.
Adani Enterprises Ltd, has many outlets, in Solar Manufacturing, Edible Oils and Foods, Defence and Aerospace, Construction, Water and Mining.
http://www.adanienterprises.com
Adani Transmission Ltd, is now Adani Energy Solutions Ltd and is an Electric Power Transmission Company, that is currently one of the largest private sector power transmission companies operating in India.

http://www.adanienergysolutions.com
Adani Energy Solutions is involved with Power Transmission, Power Distribution, Smart Metering, Cooling Solutions, Tech & Innovation and System Availability.
Interestingly, the Adani " Smart Metering " web-page, is at the moment " ..... under construction."
Good Luck all.

Good afternoon Vas and all,
A useful piece of information, Vas. Thank you.
So L&T ( I will not provide the full name because the first word of L&T's name will be edited ) and L&G have both sold off their Smart Metering Divisions. L&T to Schneider Electric and L&G to Esyasoft.
Thank you for the other information Vas, it was very informative.
LTI.
Good evening Vas,
And thank you for sharing the infornation on Esyasoft and L&G, it is appreciated. And slots in a piece of the puzzle that has for me, been missing for some time.
Namely, that L&G did not seem to be involved in the Indian Smart Meter roll-out, recently.
I had thought that despite the opportunities for meter manufacturers in India, that L&G were more inclined to smart meter opportunities in developed markets, rather than developing markets. So they could have been to expensive, in my opinion.
L&G did supply WBSEDCL ( West Bengal ) with smart meters for many years, but their last order in India, I believe, was during 2017/2018, for Tata Power ( TPDDL ). So the aquisition of Landis&Gyr by Esyasoft, may explain why L&G do not seem to be tendering for contracts in India, at this moment in time.
But thanks again Vas.
LTI.
Good afternoon Vas,
Some information from 2022, that may be of interest, including some collaborations between CyanConnode/Esyasoft, up until 2022.
http://cyanconnode.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Brochure-A4.pdf
CyanConnode and Esyasoft had collaborated on 5 smart meter projects up until May 2022, from what I can make out. Two separate projects for MPWZ in Indore. One project for TANGEDCO in Tamil Nadu. One project for HPSEB in Himachal Pradesh and one project for APDCL in Assam.
Esyasoft may have been involved in other contracts since 2022, like the Assam/IntelliSmart/CyanConnode contract, in connection with the Strategic Framework Agreement, but I have not checked as yet, so I cannot say for certain.
I hope this helps with some pieces for your jigsaw. It is interesting slotting the various pieces together.
Good Luck Vas and all.
LTI.
Good morning Vas,
Thank you for posting the latest NSGM report, it is appreciated. The overall number of Sanctioned smart meters remains the same, at 22,22,64,571 ( 222,264,571 ) but the Awarded smart meters has increased by 3,548,348 so far this month, since 3rd April, 2024 update.
There are three main winners, in this update, so far this month and they are for projects in Jammu and Kashmir, Sikkim and West Bengal. Installations went up to 246,988 in April so far and the overall smart meter installations now stands at 10,570,045.
So steady progress is being maintained, I feel.
Good Luck Vas and all.
LTI.
Good morning all,
The idea of an IPO was mentioned/discussed on the 18th April 2024, by multibagger on ADVFN. An option with which I agree which sounds very attractive.
From multibaggers post, yesterday, on ADVFN:-
" With app of a Joint Broker, a large corporate event is likely to be in the offing in the next 4-6 months. I personally think that it could be an IPO of our Indian 100% owned subsidiary, with Cyan still retaining the majority/controlling stake once we have an even better order pipeline in India and/or MENA. Speculation on my part no doubt, but too many strategic moves and all closely temporarally connected to be a mere coincidence."
And it fits in quite nicely with what I mentioned a couple of days ago, about the new entity being established in the UAE " ..... to promote business in the MENA ( Middle East and North Africa ) region " and maybe CyanConnode were looking at " Post India " planning, even at this stage."
I remember when I first came to know Cyan, as it was known then, they just had an office on the out-skirts of Cambridge. Now CyanConnode have there head-quarters more towards the center of Cambridge, have an office in Gurugram, India and an office in Stockholm, Sweden.
So why not the UAE.
Good Luck all.
LTI.
Good evening tonyj and all,
Over the last few days, since the CyanConnode Trading Update, on 16th April, 2024 and the latest Zeus report also on 16th April, 2024, investors have been steadily buying into the positive potential for CyanConnode, contained in both reports.
There could also be the possibility that some investors are buying into the chance that any Placing could be at a premium as there has been some positive buying so far this week, which is yet to have a positive impact on the share-price.
Time will tell tonyj.
Take care and Good Luck.
LTI.
Good morning all,
As I have commented on before, a Placing for expansion, is far better than a Placing for survival. CyanConnode are in a different position now-days. The out-look is different and the potential of the Company, is far greater.
This proposed new entity in the United Arab Emirates, could open up many different avenues of business, for CyanConnode, with existing and new Partners.
Enjoy the journey and Good Luck all.
