I think there is a lot more to the Collaboration with Silicon Laboratories, jake, than just the reduction in R&D.

So I feel, there is a substantial advantage to this particular collaboration.

Although there was an interesting observation by multibagger, on ADVFN, at 07:07 this morning, that may be of interest, about " ..... the separation of the NOMAD and Broker roles to negate any conflict of interest between the two roles."

But I am sure there will be plenty of times to get excited, as you put it, in the not to distant future.

From the report ( I may have covered some points previously ):-

Further down within the report:-

So a very good move I feel, by the senior management of CyanConnode, to integrate with the Silicon Labs'/WI-SUN FG25 solution, which should give meter manufacturers, clients and utilities added confidence in the CyanConnode solution.

Good afternoon Pedro,

As I think you may have been suggesting, I see the Strategic Framework Agreement and the WI-SUN Ecosystem collaboration, as stepping stones within the ever changing/always developing, smart meter/smart grid deployments, that CyanConnode are involved with.

So I see both, as a good strategic moves.

There was quite a bit of information in the Placing Document at the beginning of the year, which seemed to cover most markets, so whether that has taken the place of any Trading Update, as such, we will have to wait and see.

I remember someone commenting on this bb, that they thought that CyanConnode would only get between 2% and 4% of the smart meters in India. But they could have got that wrong though.

Landis & Gyr were one of the Partners/Companies that came with the Cyan purchase of Connnode and are, I believe, still Partnered with CyanConnode for some of the Nordic contracts.

Landis & Gyr were also active in West Bengal, some years ago, but I have not heard anything about them in India recently. And as yet, they have not appeared on the REC Empanelment List.

Which brings us to the interesting co-incidence that Landis & Gyr and CyanConnode appear in the same report, on 9th February, 2023, in an article about Silicon Labs and WI-SUN FG25?

It will be interesting to see if anything develops further.
