If you look at the projects over the last few years, that CyanConnode and Partners have been involved with, since 2014, for Tata Power, including Larson & Toubro, until the most recent project in Assam, for IntelliSmart including Schneider Electric, CyanConnode and Partners have been providing a very high level of customer satisfaction, over the years, both prior to the Empanelment Process and since it began.

So it is interesting that CyanConnnode and Partners have received a contract, for Assam, outside the Empanelment Process.

There seem to be projects that are being allowed to progress, for example Assam as far as CyanConnode are concerned and as we have mentioned, UPPCL which started July 1st, 2022 and BSES which is due to start during October 2022. Others may present themselves as the programme rollout continues/gains momentum and should bring further information to the public domain.

But there is no additional company information provided, from what I can see, on the meter manufacturer/solutions that are required, so it is a case of waiting to see what happens.

It states in this report, that the tender was floated on June 17th and the report was published on 21st June, 2022. So the tender evaluation process seems to have quickened up, quite a lot.

I highlighted the UPPCL project on 22nd June, 2022, which we understand is progressing from July 1st, 2022, to show that projects were continuing to be awarded even though the Empanelment Process is still ongoing. I seem to remember there is also a project for BSES that is due to start during October 2022.

In reply to your posts at 16:12 and 18:17 today, until we hear directly from CyanConnode about confirmation of any order or project, there is no confirmation. That is the way I look at it.

..... initial order to IntelliSmart, was for 600,000 meters. In April 2022, CyanConnode received a LoI from IntelliSmart covering 500,000 Omnimesh modules.

In May 2022 CyanConnode received an order for 100,000 modules relating to the LoI and on 27th June CyanConnode received a further order for 200,000 relating to the LoI, bringing the total order set against this LoI for Assam, to 300,000.

200,000 left to order against the LoI, with 100,000 not been covered within the IntelliSmart LoI to CyanConnode.

The Trading Update is delayed, we understand, because CyanConnode are waitng for RSM to complete their work. As frustrating as it is, that is where we are.

But I agree, the sooner we know the better, to clear up the uncertainty.

...... to confirm the Companies that would initially take part in this stage of the Smart Meter roll-out in India. As that process is " ongoing, " it is unclear how or when the results are made public. But the results should give an insight of how various Companies have progressed through the initial process and where they have positioned themselves.

Also, it is clear that certain projects ( Assam for example ) and UPPCL and BSES are progressing although the Empanelment Process is still " ongoing."
