3 Weeks ago Hemogenyx was sitting at 4p in anticipation of IND having completed and verified 2 out of 3 runs with 3rd party sign off.
Since then Run 3 has been sent away and will have been returned by now, no RNS required to confirm its been tested but absolutely an RNS WOULD be required if it had failed. This was the final stage in IND submission, which I assume will come in the coming hours or days.
On the 26th January we had a placing to take advantage of an opportunity, this being after the FDA halted trials by Magenta Therapeutics following the death of a patient. They then announced that they were moving to wind down their company, which means fire sale, delist and distribute cash to shareholders. Vlad had previously stated that Hemogenyx were funded to take CAR-T into clinical trials so the timing of the Placing came as a surprise to many.
MGTA-145 looks strikingly close to Hu-PHEC but already in clinical trials and past the point of IND etc.
Vlad tweeted but quickly deleted a link to Magenta, obviously nothing is a given but I believe there is a chance the placing money was to take advantage of a firesale at Magenta, it gives Hemo a boost into clinical status and MGTA-145 compliments CDX and CAR-T giving full end to end treatment.
Its possible I am wrong, but SOMEBODY has to take MGTA-145 and whoever it is would become a competitor to Hemogenyx, better to swallow up the competition and leapfrog into clinical status.
On the same day we had an immediate tank of SP BELOW Placing price, we have had confirmation from multiple sources that the share were being sold by an existing shareholder, clearly someone who saw the placing as signs of a delay. But where is the evidence of a delay? No RNS to say run 3 failed which would be necessary and all the whispers I have heard are positive.
So from where I sit, I have ZERO reason to believe IND will be delayed and could land at any point any day going forward.
I have every belief that the placing was not just to pad the bank and Vlad had a reason, maybe his tweet was a red herring but maybe not. If I am right then some sort of update should clarify which can only be good for us and help dispel the myth of delays or needing cash.
CBR in vivo tests started over a month ago so results there are due any time now, I think in the CDX trials all mice were put down after 21 days? So we are in the ball park when CBR news for Covid-19 is due
CBR update related to the other testing or partners - No clue, cannot judge.
There is literally NOTHING in the public domain, be it in RNS, via tweet or even via rumors that there is anything negative hanging over Hemogenyx. The attempts to inject doubt with irrelevant semantics is just childish and pathetic IMO.
Wonder what it does to the SP if I am right and 1, 2 or 3 of the above updates land in quick succession....
