How would it be fully protected by filing a full patent?
It is a patent "application". The patent is pending, if they put in the full application tomorrow then today its protected by a provisional patent application and tomorrow it would be protected by a patent application, both of which can be denied if they infringed on someone elses pre-existing patent(They hired experts to make sure this was not the case).
When the patent is GRANTED then I fully expect an RNS as we have had in the past but I think this obsession over a follow up application is really....... Seriously, your obsessing over something that is incredibly insignificant when there is much more important things that we have not been updated on? Confirmation that the IND is either ready or filed? WHO is this partner for CAR-T mentioned in the tweet and what are they doing for Hemogenyx? What about the results of the in vivo testing for CBR? Who are the parties in talk for CDX and how have negotiations gone? Like demand updates on any of those where we SHOULD get updates and are well overdue, but please, stop this obsession over something that there is no legal requirement to RNS.

It was a pretty short answer because it did not justify a longer answer. They filed the patent, the IP is protected, they are hiring alot more staff to advance CBR, they are testing CBR with government facilities, they are applying for a grant to advance CBR. CAR-T is important but its a limited scope, the future with Hemogenyx is CBR. The CEO is married to an intellectual property expert who knows all about patent applications.
The chances of the patent lapsing is about the same as me forgetting to eat a bar of galaxy in the fridge, aint going to happen. And because its currently protected and will continue to be protected when the full application is filed (if not done already) there is ZERO change in state so there is no need to RNS Anything. IF they decided not to protect it and throw it all away then that would demand an RNS. So NO. I do not expect an RNS for patent application.

Sorry but how can anyone misinterpret that as anything but a wish to point out huge cost need for funding in later phases? Certainly you are correct and none of us have ever argued that pharma is cheap but you never point out that actually pharma IS expensive but the companies can pay for it because they have significant re-rates as they hit milestones. That said, as vlad has said himself in the past, what they have achieved with CAR-T on a few million other pharmas would have spent 100mil already, he is extremely frugal.
I see some relevance to the bank collapse as clearly yesterday it had a huge impact on the overall market and irrespective of the direct impact on Hemogenyx the market makers across the board grabbed the hammer and smashed the "break here in case of bear" button. But unless Hemo were banking with SVB and dont have insurance I cant see it having any lasting impact here.

Re price of trials, for all the pipelines, BILLIONS. So does that mean the mCap should be like -1.98 billion right now to take into account future costs?
Clearly Hemogenyx cannot raise billions today so highlighting future costs without pointing out the fact that pharma CAN raise these levels because of significant growth in mCap, licensing deals and grants and funding is misleading.
As for where I arrived at my 10-15p +, nothing complicated. Hemogenyx are not re-inventing the wheel with CAR-T. It is trivial to find licencing deals for early stage clinical CAR-T treatments and mCaps for early clinical pharmas with oncology CAR-T treatment out there, an mCap of 20-30mil is frankly a joke.
121 your posts are seen as trolling because your talking about corporate finance which is completely irrelevant to hemo, if you were trying to deramp Eli Lilly or J&J fair enough.. But hemo is ~20mil.... Seriously. Licencing, cash injection, buyout etc would not even register on the balance sheet of any big pharma. Your trying hard to find any and all links that you can post that you can try and shade as negative on Hemo and then state your a shareholder. How seriously thick do you think we are? When you post a link about Hemogenyx I'll listen, find me somewhere that says HEMO-CAR-T has failed in trials or CBR doesn't work.

I am struggling to work out how the share price at 10am this morning or 4pm this afternoon has any impact on the mCap of a Clinical pharma when they are in clinical trials with an Oncology target CAR-T treatment... I am sure there is a relevance and someone can find me a formula to work it out... Until then I will continue to assess the potential as what is Hemogenyx worth when they move to clinical with... (See above) Which for those who CBA to work it out is 10-15p+ What the SP does today has zero impact on the science going on. Sure I can moan about Vlad and call him Dr Stonewall because I am frustrated about the lack of updates or news, but that does not change the fact my faith in the science and potential is rock solid.

The grant get announced by the Empire State Development, if we were relying on Hemogenyx to announce it then certainly months of delay would be possible. Decisions were made in March last year and there was a press release with names on 11th April, so yes, something similar this year.
Worth people taking a step back from Hemogenyx this morning and looking at the wider market and also having a quick look on twitter at the reactions from traders and investors. Its a bit of a blood bath out there today, no clue why have not bothered to look.
As for lack of news... Dr Stonewall is running Hemogenyx as a private company, its frustrating and annoying but from all those I have spoken to about hemo over the years its 100% on form for him. I disagree there has been lots of news based on the fact that we can be confident there HAS been progress which has not been updated to market. Focusing purely on CAR-T, there is the mention of a partner in the Hemogenyx tweet and there are the results from the PQ final run. Both would be significant in showing progress and confidence towards going Clinical. Knowing there has been progress even though its not in RNS format is enough for me to buy and hold. I know an IND is coming and I know what it will do going clincial. I get its frustrating when Dr Stonewall wants to keep everyone in the dark and "Trust me bro" but it is what it is, its not a game, its real money and if people want to throw their shares and toys out of the pram because the CEO is not playing nice? So be it, I will keep on buying and holding.

Please do not start 121, your history is there in black and white for all to see, embarrassing to see your lack of knowledge today about what is a buy and what is a sell trade.... As for your 3 month delay theory. I have bitten my tongue as despite your claims to the contrary you clearly dont get the IND process, internal delays with the FDA are completely irrelevant, the delay is Hemo have not yet submitted the IND, when they do its a 30 day wait, your nonsense about new department, who cares, irrelevant distraction. @everyone else, highly recommend taking a few days away from here, when you come back and catch up its amazing how pathetic it all appears with fresh eyes. Why the hell idiots who are very clearly out seem to spend more time posting day in and day out than actual shareholders amazes me, sad and pathetic.

MrIndia I am here however as you know real life outside of Hemo is a little hectic right now and takes priority, I echo the sentiments of HH below and remain as positive about the potential here as ever.
Where as some take silence as some big red flag or sign of something being wrong I instead see Hemo posting quietly job vacancies for CBR senior scientists and get a warm fuzzy feeling that things are progressing well behind the scenes. Please dont take my silence as anything negative. To be blunt I am pretty sure that the lack of news is probably down largely to Dr Stonewall giving a middle finger to investors who demand news or post dates. I am absolutely convinced that he could provide some sort of updates but he has taken the decision not too.
Dr Stonewall is a "Trust me bro" CEO who has not yet figured out how the CEO of a public company is supposed to run that company and his duties to shareholders. Shame, we could be soooooo much higher than we are now if even a little focus was put on PR and investor relations.
Anyway, fed up arguing with people that the fact an RNS has not yet landed is sign of anything bad, its a sign that Dr Stonewall has decided not to update the market on any progress made to date nothing more. If people wish to sell I am past caring, I would rather that people who moan just sell, I will continue to buy and hold. IMO there is only so long Vlad can NOT update the market, I am impatient but not on a clock so I can wait, no F'ing chance after 5 years of me selling a single bean now. Anyway, this is me for another while, Pointless posting when no updates, if people need reassurance from the likes of me to convince them to hold then they are likely to sell on news anyway.
The list of pending updates has not shrunk, we can however now add results from the Grant in the next few weeks as HH pointed out.

There are a few posters on here who say they have been involved in Clinical Trials before, their input would be appreciated, but yes Hulver, IMO where trials are taking place/run by whom I would expect to be part of the IND pack. And I know when Vlad discussed the IND for CAR-T in the past it was always Penn... But now he is talking about a partner with GPS tracking anywhere in the USA, that is not Penn, so maybe it is the reason? Is it really that hard to update shareholders? Clearly yes.

The first 3 runs were REACH RNS's so arguably Vlad could have just not done those, well as I understand it by doing REACH vlad has made it clear that in HIS opinion a full regulatory RNS was not necessary. We will just have to agree to disagree on the significance of successful PQ runs here, clearly Vlad sees nothing other than IND submission as worthy of an RNS. IMO he is wrong as he is failing to look at the significance in comparison to the mCap.
For someone like J&J, Eli etc a PQ is a day in day out event that means nothing.
Hemogenyx is priced like a run down ford focus sitting at the side of the road with a for sale sign on, nobody even knows if the engine turns over. When your so low, so cheap then ANY validation is market sensitive and significant, just because in Vlads opinion RNS'ing 3 successful PQ runs is not necessary does not make him right.
With regards to delaying start of trials, if the delay is to allow Hemo to target patients anywhere in the USA rather than JUST Penn then indeed its a very good thing, if not more than a little frustrating that Vlad does feel the need to update shareholders who actually facilitate his research....

If you want some discussion as to why its late (Based on the target date provided by Vlad) which was never hard and fast fair enough, I know I am certainly tired of waiting!
My opinion is based largely on what HFH said and the tweet from Hemo and some between the line reasoning.
1, I disagree wholeheartedly that they are doing more than the 3 runs, my understanding is the runs are done. Disagree if you wish HOWEVER if you feel strongly thats a possibility then email and demand to know as surely a failed run would be inside information which the company would have to RNS. I know others have heard back from hemo that things are fine so there is nothing to suggest there is anything wrong.
2, The tweet suggested a partner for CAR-T who would assist in some way in the trials, there was particular mention of delivery across the USA, GPS tracking etc. So I am wondering is this change what has caused a delay? A delay not related to the CAR-T in any meaningful way but due to distribution and delivery. Certainly the plan was originally to run the trials at Penn, but Vlad has said many times that the target AML is very rare, from that the company will select only those patients with markers most likely to respond favourably so as to give the trials best chance of success. That means the chances of the perfect patients being geographically close to Penn is tiny. Those who work in clinical trials may be able to answer this, will patients relocate to Penn to take part in this trial? Or is it better to partner with someone who can host the trials at multiple locations across the USA and co-ordinate collection from the patient and delivery of CAR-T etc all secure and tracked?

If changing or adding a partner to greatly expand the potential pool of patients for a clinical trial is the reason for the delay then happy days, thats good news for the trial and us. The lack of communication however for a publicly listed, owned by shareholders, is poor. The Hemogenyx tweet certainly hinted at a partner that was more than just a FedEx delivery van, and if they are charging would explain need for cash AND fulfils the wording of the RNS as to the purpose of those funds.

Little changes though, still bored stupid waiting, SP is still a joke, Vlad cannot stonewall forever, IND will go in and we will re-rate as a clinical Pharma in the near future. Let vlad check, double check and triple check if he wants. He wants to save lives, he needs to get into trials.

Your statement that global co want nothing further to do with CDX is in direct contradiction to what vlad said in the last update about CDX where he stated they were working and in talks with a global co.
I might have issue with how vlad communicates with the wider market but I have absolute faith in his integrity. If he said they are in talks with regards to CDX then they are in talks.
The mint loan was a complete farce and nothing came from orgenisis and the CLN backed loan to them was repaid as they were contractually obliged to do.

Hu-PHEC was never dropped and it was never replaced by CDX, they are complimentary therapies. CDX takes a flame thrower to your immune system clearing out your bone marrow. Hu-PHEC is there to produce fresh, non-mutated and cancerous bone marrow for transplant using stem cells from the patient cutting out need for donor cells. The last update said it was put on hold due to lack of funds and priority focusing on CAR-T.
CDX as per the last update we had from Vlad is very much active in talks with 3rd parties so I expect some sort of update on talks at some point in the near future.
CBR is a platform which has already been tested on all strains of CBR and we are awaiting results of the in vivo testing. Developing CBR for Covid is not a waste because its already done. Will they find a partner willing to take that CBR forward into clinical trials and licencing?? Who knows. As for the Niche viruses such as ebola and Marburg, absolutely a golden opportunity if Vlad can capitalise on it. He has already said in the RNS that the single CBR developed works against this family of viruses.

The money is there to further research and trials if Vlad is able to win it. We KNOW Hemo have a potential treatment for Marburg which looks very promising, but who the hell else knows? I know that Sabin Vaccine Institute, J&J, Auro Vaccines and many more are working on a vaccine, they will all probably get funding, because they update the public. It would be nice to know what Hemogenyx are doing.
Vlad mentioned a distribution "partner" in the official company tweet, I for one think thats significant enough to be market sensitive. I am confident all CAR-T PQ tests passed but again no update on this, IMO THAT is market sensitive. CBR was in testing start of January, pass or Fail EITHER is significant, but no update.

I am not sure that Vlad grasps the fact that what is NOT market sensitive for a company like say Eli Lilly where they are worth billions probably IS market sensitive to a small pharma worth less than 25m.
I have 100% belief in the science, Vlad is a genius and the company will save lives. But on the flip side this is a publicly traded company where the company website has Hu-PHEC as its primary candidate and everyone comes to LSE for up to date info... Its embarrassing as a shareholder!
