what made you take a sizeable position in RR? I'm genuinely interested. I keep reading the RR SP is to high (I dont believe for one minute its to high in-fact I think its massively undervalued)

I think you will be happily surprised as a £15 “ish” RR SP is incoming for early next year . RR is now seen as a big fat compounder and it won’t take long for more investors to cotton on.

Well seems to me that the £15 “ish” by the end of 2025 early 2026 is still on the cards. I would say the general negative opinion in articles by experts is very very slowly starting to change. I remember various experts saying this is bad or this or that ratio is to high back in 2021. So glad I bought more at the time. Am I an expert? No but every sector RR operates in has extremely large growth coming down the track. I genuinely think in three years time the RR SP will be pushing £30. I have no get out price I’m just happy riding the ever building wave. It all underlines for me that there really is plenty more in the RR tank.

Yes I absolutely agree with SVEND that the RR SP will hit £15 early 2026. If as it's been thought Wall Street is now seeing RR as a blue chip compounder stock (which it is) then £15 will fly by once fund mangers start to pile in. I still have no idea at what point I will get out but currently all I can see is positivity on positivity for RR. There truly is far far more in the RR SP to come.

According to the mail telegraph express and the shun Rachel R is raising all taxes every other day. With the potential of new unknown taxes every week coming your way. The latest wheeze is as house prices are so high compared to wages houses are to be reclassified as luxury items so will now be subject to VAT. In the autumn budget!

Others may not agree but the UK government has an industrial strategy and RR are clearly a big part of it from what I can see!

Yes completely agree the RR SP will go on a massive up swing once any announcement on re entering the narrow body arena happens. SMR will start to have an upward effect once other countries start putting in orders in the next few years. My prediction is £30-£40 by 2028. I believe RR is still massively undervalued and there is far far more in the RR tank!

Well a 50% increase in profits for H1. As flying hours are a big % of income (which are clearly increasing) I believe that the full year income profits will be higher than the guidance. Even at £10.70 the RR SP is still way undervalued. I originally thought RR would hit £15 end of 2026 but now think £15 “ish” by the end of 2025 early 2026 is very achievable. I was expecting the rate of growth to slow in 2025 but the reverse has happened. Seems like the “experts” still haven’t fully understood how strategic a company RR is. I’ll say it again there really is absolutely far far more in the RR tank to come. What are other people’s thoughts?

Well apart from the dip post 2.30pm it’s all looking extremely positive going forward. £15 certain is achievable end of 2025 early 2026 especially as the city is now saying they have massive underestimated the “turn around at RR” and estimates are very conservative for the next 3 years.

Well I still have no idea at what point I’ll sell and to be honest I’m just enjoying the rollercoaster of it. £15 is very achievable by early 2026!! Congratulations to all!!!

Well if you’ve done well to date another two days until results day in my book is worth holding on in there. Personally I think there’s a lot more in the RR tank and I have absolutely no idea at what point I’ll sell. But I really wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t see £15 ish at the end of this year or early 2026. RR is slowly transforming from recovery to a sustainable growth company. Sure the rate of grown annually will slow soon but it’s an upward trajectory for some years to come.

Well hoping results day this Thursday is good. The rumour is the target of 111% approximately of 2019 flying hours!

RR Engine flight hours in 2025 are rumoured to be about 111% of 2019 levels. So for context 2024 flying hours were 104% of 2019. In feb 2025 when RR announce the flying hours for 2024 the RR SP had a massive jump. I wonder if this will be a bigger jump in feb 2026? Personally I think it will.

Yes it sounds like that’s what’s happening in your area. Last year I sold off my last two fossil energy stocks and piled into two green energy generation stocks. So far it’s been very good and over the medium to long term will provide very good passive income.

Talking to a gas engineer recently who serviced our older boiler. Asked him about heat pumps.

“No don’t believe all the hype about renewables or gas going. Currently the UK is upgrading all the gas pipe networks in the UK so they wouldn’t be doing that if gas was going. Oh your boiler is 8 years old we can replace it with a more efficient one, have a think about it!”

I did a bit of research and he was 100% correct the UK gas pipe network is indeed being replaced and upgraded but not to carry gas! The whole of the gas network will be capable of carrying 100% hydrogen. What will happen is natural gas will be blended with hydrogen and eventually phased out. Turns out some boilers upto ten years old can run on blended gas/hydrogen. Our current boiler can. I won’t be getting that company to service our boiler next year or replace it when the time comes.

Well the 10 pounder has been breached. I thought after results day in feb 25 we could be £10-£12 early 2026. Theres every possibility £15 at the end of 2025 early 2026. What a ride RR has been since 2020! Each to their own choices but personally Im going to continue to hold and I have no idea at what price point I'm going to sell. The RR ship this year has added a whole new mast with a full compliment of billowing sails!! GLTA!!! As BTO sang you ain't seen nothing yet!!!

Well I’m currently leaning towards £10.65 but if the EU trade delegation strike a deal in China for Airbus widebody orders before the Q1-Q2 announcement we could see it smash through £11 and then on announcement day it could be £11.65! Either way there’s still a lot more in the RR SP tank. I did think £10-£12 early in 2026 but at this rate we could be at £15 early 2026.

So over the past few weeks lots of positive news for RR but the share price has been going sideways. Do people think the RR SP is now about to return to form and start rising again?
