I personally think there’s a lot more to come from Rolls Royce Holdings Ltd.

I think AI tech stocks are in a massive bubble and the type of fund managers and investors who you describe only invest in AI as it’s “sexy” and makes them look and sound cool. My guess is once theres an AI bubble once they realised this the capitulation will be massive and the capital flight will cause a dotcom 2 bubble burst. There will be a scramble for sound companies to park their capital in! Oh hello RR!!!

Looks like a lot of investors still think RR holdings Ltd makes cars and the 25% tariffs on UK cars will hit RR holdings ltd! Well it’s a buying opportunity if you have some cash!

Yes the past couple of weeks have been irrational. Let’s hope sense prevails and the SP gets back on track and ends up north of £8 by the end of the coming week!!!

There were so many issues with a UDF un ducted fan jet engine that even with massive nasa (us government) funding and backing they couldn’t solve the issues and R’n’D was abandoned in the nineteen nineties . One of the solutions was to have thin props blades but if one was to fail the chances of it ripping through the fuselage of the plane or wing are high and would be catastrophic. There were options to mount at the back of the fuselage but again if one broke off it could damage the plane really badly. If you have ever flown in a turbo prop the noise is dreadful and a UDF engine was way worse. The size length of the UDF blades needed for wide body or narrow body plane would require a complete clean sheet redesign aircraft that would cost stupid amounts of money. I can’t see Boeing doing this anytime soon but Airbus might! The so called fuel savings might not be as big as the claims. Just my opinion but I suspect the RR ultrafan system is going to be the next engine of choice.

RR Bought Allison in 1995 so own the int prop on the Allison UDF engine. Looks like Airbus are interested in the CFM Rise UDF prototype.

Yes couldn’t believe the mental gymnastics they went through to justify their to expensive to risky position. They didn’t do the old cliche of “low hanging fruit” which was a surprise. RR under Turbo and Helen has been transformed and there’s much much more to come.

Doesn’t look like it ‘s necessarily a shift of production but an increase of production in the USA to avoid tariffs. I suspect RR will be increasing production of jet engines anyway as once it’s become clear the Boeing 777x is going to get delayed even more Airbus will pick up more A330 and A350 orders. Both Airbus planes come exclusively with RR engines. There’s already estimated 30plus 777x orders effectively cancelled.

So yes the express “headline” was clickbait.

While on the face of it this would exclude the UK and other non-EU countries such as Turkey from being able to join the defence procurement scheme, a separate report also published on Wednesday raised hopes of a speedy defence pact.

In what would be a major boost to Keir Starmer’s Brexit reset the Commission’s separate white paper on defence readiness, describes the UK as “an essential European ally with which cooperation on security and defence should be enhanced in mutual interest, starting with a potential Security and Defence partnership”.

Well after Mondays Trump slump looks like RR will gently build from now on. SMR should give a bump up in the SP when ever the announcement happens. I suspect there will be other Trump slumps over the next 4 years!

So over the next few years RR are investing to double turbine blade manufacturing. Obviously they have a strong back order for engines but I wonder if they are preparing for increased production for narrow body aircraft?

Bit of Trumpenomics at play today. RR fundamentals are still extremely strong this is just a reaction to Mr T's flip flopping on everything, the only surprise is this didn't happen last week. As Corporal Jones would say "dont panic DONT'T PANIC!!!"

Wokeboarder. Rolls Royce and others have been supplying battery grid storage to smooth out the peaks and store wind power at night time.. Although there isn't much capacity out there at the moment it'll just increase in the coming years and will get more effective. Have you not invested in NESF great divi @12.6%? It's giving me a very good divi every quarter which I'm ploughing back in.

We need the national grid to be upgraded and a mix of nuclear including SMR solar and wind. Not sure but I thought everyone knew that the gas spot price sets the whole sale price of electricity even if it is generated by a cheaper source. There’s a chan4 documentary from about 4 years ago that explains it all. If the spot price was removed then green energy could be sold onto the grid considerably cheaper.

Well I thought today we would see a bump again on opening but it’s not happened. Still it been a brilliant 7 days and it looks like the SP is taking a breather. For me it’s a continue to hold situation.

Well it's been a brilliant 6 days. Looking like theres more to come tomorrow. Just read an article that although says its all good with RR but was saying this is to high that is to high not much room for growth it'll only take a little slow down and the price was fall, all the low hanging fruit has been picked. I read people saying the exact same in thing 2021-2022.

Does anyone know how the RR share buyback is going to happen? Is it just one big purchase or several spread over 2025?
