If you look at Boeing they are still in trouble.

I don’t believe they will be able to fulfil the Trump manufactured 200 Boeing plane “deal” with Qatar. It won’t be long before Qatar will back out of some of those numbers and order widebody Airbus RR planes especially as if there’s orders for Airbus at the Paris air show the delivery slots will be in short supply very soon. I really can’t see China wanting to buy Boeing over Airbus

or use it as a negotiating tactic. They might buy some but I genuinely think Trump is starting to ruin international trade with America. But it will as always be someone else’s fault.

If the rumours are true for 200-500 Airbus only orders when the EU trade delegation are in China in July then that’s likely to be 200 RR plus Trent engines. If and I suspect it’ll happen that some or the “Trump” manufactured orders for Boeing/GE that happen recently fall through and those airlines switch to Airbus RR are going to be in for a bumper order book in the next year or two. We also have the Paris air show this coming week so there could be more orders for RR powered planes. The next two months are looking very good for RR if the stars align. There really is much more in the RR tank!!!

I was thinking £10-£12 in Q1 2026 but I now think SMR really isn't factored into the current SP so we could get to £10-£12 much sooner. I'm not keen on the words game changer but after Turbo Tufan and high-octane Helen took the reins they have turned RR into a game changer and it wont be much longer before other investors wake up and theres a pile in on RR shares,

We seem to get a lot of experts saying this is too high or the P/E is off. Although this is the first one in a while that is relatively balanced. Personally I don’t think £10-£12 by Q1 2026 is unrealistic. I also don’t think all the Trump Boeing GE orders for planes over the past couple of weeks will actually get fully realised and Airbus RR will end up with new A350 A330 orders they weren’t expecting.

Yes I’m now thinking we could see £8.50 before SMR announcement day. If SMR positive we could be looking at £9.50 plus in 5 weeks time! All things considered this companies SP has a heck of a lot more in its tank! I was thinking £10-£12 by Feb next year but that looks like it might happen sooner! We could well be at £15 by early 2027.

Yet another article saying RR will have 10% blanket tariffs when Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said the administration plans to exempt Rolls-Royce engines and other “plane parts” from the 10% baseline tariff imposed on most UK imports.

RR has been working with safran on propulsion for the next version of the storm shadow for the past 3 years. No guesses where it’s being tested.

Although Boeing want OrpheusWorks RR engines for something new non civil aviation.

Can Boeing actually cope and deliver all those new planes? They are really struggling still despite all the spin and PR to the contrary. They haven’t turned a profit since 2018. The 777x is way behind and who knows when certification and delivery will actually happen and not get pushed further. One thing does strike me about this so called deal. It’s all a bit fishy….

Well it’s looks to me that we are going to hover around the £8 ish mark for a week or two and then start to build. One the RR SMR gets the green light it’ll be thunderbirds are go! 🚀

Well I have thought this for a while. It's under sold but that looks like it might be changing especially as the delivery time is much less than other wide bodies. The A330neo comes exclusively with RR trent 7000 which is in the process of being upgraded as well.

Yep agree 100% RR has diversity in its portfolio and is a wide moated stock! I really think we will be looking at £10 by Jan next year and after results day in Feb £12. I would be surprised if they do another share buy back next year and up the dividend to 8-10p as well. The management team all the way through to the shop floor have turned RR into a massive growth company and it’s only really just getting started!

Even if RR SMR doesn’t get the UK government contract (which is highly unlikely) there will be European countries queuing up for it. I actually think the unintended consequence of Mr Trump and his insane policies and potential tariffs guarantees European countries buying European tech and products when ever possible. The numbers by 2035 onwards are astoundingly good.
