The air bus Q3 trading update isn’t released until 7.30pm cet tonight. The results are expected to be good so we should see a lift in the RR SP as well tomorrow morning!

Hopefully if airbus Q3 results are good then RR should get a lift tomorrow. Let’s hope it’s a big lift so when the day traders try and suck the life out of the RR SP from 2.30pm onwards there’s still a good amount of “up” left on close. GLA.

BWX Technologies (NYSE:BWXT) +5.8% pre-market Tuesday after saying it signed a nuclear steam generator detailed design contract and a memorandum of understanding with Rolls-Royce (OTCPK:RYCEF) (OTCPK:RYCEY) to support future collaboration on the development of the Rolls-Royce SMR.

Key elements of the MoU are Rolls-Royce SMR's (OTCPK:RYCEF) (OTCPK:RYCEY) readiness to procure steam generators for multiple reactor units from BWXT (NYSE:BWXT) and the development of a localization plan for future manufacturing work and other activities to support the Rolls-Royce SMR deployment in the global market.

Hmmm. So an actual order for 20 planes 40 engines and the RR SP goes down? I don’t believe for one second that future earnings and growth are factored into the current share price. Something is going on to keep pushing the RR SP down. What’s currently going on is 2+2 is -2. So it doesn’t reflect underlying strong business fundamentals and growth in all sectors it operates in.

Just read the article. This comment sticks out. It’s a classic double down which for me is a big red flag.

My take away is simple hold and buy more RR shares.

Well fingers crossed the RR SP will now start to recover some of the price it was at a couple of weeks ago. Hoping then that on Q3 results day it’ll push through the £12 point. Don’t forget only a week later the Dubai airshow is on and there is every chance airbus will get some orders. RR has been a fabulous share to hold and will continue to be. When I bought in in 2020 it was a complete punt but then I started to do my research and now I’m even more confident in RR as a business. I actually don’t believe the turn around recovery is actually over. Even today there’s loads of potential for growth. RR still has plenty of fuel in the tank.

Hmmm. So there’s not been much positive news for RR for the past 6 weeks but there’s also been no negative or bad news. Has any of RR basic fundamentals actually deteriorated, No? RR has considerable growth in all three fields of operation. That’s not changed and won’t change. There’s a massive amount of demand for RR hardware!

Yes agreed. Although at some point there will be another SP just. Next one should be 13th nov trading up date closely followed the following week by the airbus wide body orders at the Dubai air show. Also the fingers crossed the China 500 airbus order will be officially announced soon!

Well two weeks of volatility. Each to their own views but from what I can see nothing has changed and the business fundamentals of RR is still strong. If the trading update mid November followed by some plane orders the following week at the Dubai airshow then there will be a good sized jump over a week. With luck the SP will push through £12 and sit at the end of the year closer to £13. At a guess most of the people on here have invested because of the business case and the undervaluation of RR from a few years ago. The people causing the volatility are likely people who are day traders. There are no guarantees with trading but in 2 years time RR will be pushing £20. Hope every one has a good weekend and next week things improve. RR strong underlying fundamentals still and that’s a lot more in the RR tank!

Well volatility is where we are at at the moment. It’ll be V like earlier this year with the Trump tariffs none sense. £12 in the next 4-5 weeks. I still think £15 approx in Q1 2026 especially if the results at the end of fab are very good. 2026 is unlikely to see the SP double but what I have learned is all the negative press and articles about RR have been wrong. It’s a case of don’t bet against RR. There is still much more in the RR fuel tank!

Well I have no extra knowledge than anyone else.

I would say it’s almost a certainty that RR SMR will be getting an order from Indian soon. I think this (I realise this is controversial) because we finally have a UK government that actually has an industrial policy and it wants export pounds!

Yep agree with all of that. Personally I got in in 2020 it’s been fantastic to date. There’s alot of ups and downs this year but that’s part of investing. I’m sitting it out and holding although I’m going to see just how big the jump is going to be on results day in Feb next year. I will probably continue to hold!

Well this is all very positive and has the energy ministers backing for nuclear.
