Just me each to their own views. Genuinely think it’ll be pushing £20 by the end of 2026. “If” there’s a lift in the divi and another share buy back announced on results day you don’t want to be not holding RR on market opening at 8am.

Not based on anything other than my thoughts.

It looks to me that the RR SP really wants to be higher £14.00. What ever is going on seems to be keeping the SP stuck under £12.50. Keeping everything crossed for results day!

You are correct RR aerospace gear is indeed tariff exempt!

Not sure why this negative spin story keeps being pushed by the UK press that RR are going to make ultrafan in Germany. Seems like it’s another talk the UK down article by the not very patriotic UK press! There’s lots of planning applications in with Derby city council for new factories!

Yes 100% agree. UK Europe can have zero confidence in Trump on defence. Europe wide defence spending is only going to increase yoy. I can think of no other company in the ftse that has 3 divisions that have exponential growth over the next ten years. Since the pandemic all I’ve seen is RR is a failing business, the SP is to high, it can’t carry on, headwinds coming, SP is going to fall, SP is over valued (when SP WAS £1.30 ish). All I know is deep wide moated industries with colossally high barriers of entry on cost means there’s very little competition in the main 3 arenas RR operates in. RR if a first class international player with great and new improved hardware coming. RR operates in a duopoly with GE.

Well we should be at around £15 Q2 2026. As for the end of 2026 I’m “hoping” for £17-£20 range. If that big China order for Airbus happens then it could be more and any new SMR orders will push the SP up. The defence side of things is also going to add to the upswing. Will RR SP double next year, possibly, possibly not but it will be up. There’s plenty more left in the RR tank!

Yes that’s what it looks like for the past 2 months. I suspect it’s a safe bet as it gets pushed down but will always go back up!

Yes the dividend is very likely to rise. 10.5p paid this year so fingers crossed it’s 13-16p next year.

Yes agree with all of that.

Although the newer blades don’t break as there’s a gear box clutch so they can always spin. In a storm situation when they have a brake applied so they can’t spin is mostly why they snap off. I’ve done a deep dive on green energy and ultimately the grid is the key bottle neck and that will also effect SMR power delivery to the country. GFM inverters can create their own voltage waveform, acting like a “virtual synchronous machine.”

They can set frequency, provide inertia, and stabilize weak grids — exactly what’s missing in high-renewables systems. Although GFM’s are not with out their problems mostly cost this will improve over the next few years. GFM’s will be transformative for energy supply in the long run.

People will have their own opinions which won’t align with mine. Bottom line is these companies generate power and I believe the narrative is currently negative on wind and solar. I’m happy with the dividend pay outs and if at some point these type of power shares become popular then they will go up! Obviously DYOR

Green energy stocks (trusts) in the UK. 4 to 5 that are all under £1 and are paying an annual dividend of between 9-15%. I've been buying in over the past two years and used my very good RR dividend pay out to but more this year. Will the share prices rise over the next few years possibly, possibly not but the dividend has been consistence and it's well above the inflation rate.

You might be being to conservative with £13 end of Jan. Personally I think RR is still currently under valued and will hit around £15 in Q2 2026. Either way there’s plenty more left in the RR tank!

Sell if you think it’s a good move and can buy back in the dips. If you look over the past two months the RR SP has dropped off but there’s been only positive news and new orders for their products. Based on nothing but the good news and orders and now an interim share buy back announced I think RR will get back on to its upward trend in Jan 2026. There really is still plenty of fuel in the RR tank!

Looks like FCAS jet fighter program might fall apart. The UK and Italian governments are happy for Germany to come onboard GCAP. If this happens then it’ll be very good for RR.

Yep at the end of Feb we could see the biggest RR SP just ever! Figures crossed!

A few of us at work just read the article all invested in RR. We all started laughing. Terms like “could” and “a close source” means a made up story. “Engineering giant threatens to move £1.6 trillion project to US or Germany” where in the article does anyone from RR say this? No facts and not a single persons name mentioned or quoted. If the ultrafan30 gets a new narrowed body Boeing plane it will 100% be manufactured in America. Why would this be a snub it was always going to be made in the USA. It’s just a load of guff! The mail doesn’t seem very patriotic to me.

If the A350 2000 becomes a reality it could be the plane to launch the ultrafan engine on.
