As I recall, they have four possible deals under investigation - so this is the first to actually reach the point of signing. I would expect at least one other to reach the same point in fairly short order, simply because of competitive pressures in what is a pretty hot segment of the market at present (cancer vax etc)

I think there is always the expectation/hope that some discrete and positive piece of news can be announced at the time of a results RNS. In this case there is no shortage of potential news sources re trials etc…..
….but I would also be interested to know whether any of the partnership prospects re MABs are close to bearing some fruit!

I’d also hope for a late AGM, with further developments announced.

It remains the case that shares are being bought back cheaply. That means there is more money in the company than might have been expected - it was never intended to have a short term impact.
Meanwhile, since this is a dollar-based company, the ACTUAL earnings in sterling terms have increased by 20% this year - even before factoring in changes in the oil price or production.

I'm intensely relaxed about the six-month outlook.

Good to have an update on this from a meeting last week - looks like the dollar shortage may soon be eased.
Meanwhile I see the buyback levels are getting cheaper. All fine with me - perhaps they should increase and extend the programme?

These things are often rotated around in countries that are generally a bit short of dollars. But there is no doubt that there are preferred parties. At this point, I’d say there is nothing of significance - but it would worth making a comparison when all the companies’ annual results are available.
I’d also note that the issue was anticipated - hence the bank facility.

Just for the record Auctus are forecasting total dividends of USD12mn in 2023, which is about 10% of current market cap. ie precisely what I suggested elsewhere, a couple of months ago (triggering another round of abuse from the moron twins)......

I’d be watching the farmout of 125/6, where they are already in discussions with “a number” of interested parties. My guess is that those discussions are quite far advanced and an announcement will be made in November, prior to considering the detailed drilling options in early December.

The other point I note is that market conditions would have justified an addition $40mn ish of writeback on TGT, had they not limited the writeback - that is c.8p per share.

I'd expect a full-year dividend, but not a prior interim. I imagine there will be a clear signal though.

I recall that a couple of insistent bullying people on another board were lambasting Pharos management whilst simultaneously claiming that Jadestone had superb and superior management and could do no wrong

I'm therefore interested to note that whilst Pharos is up a modest 20% or so over the last year, Jadestone has actually fallen.

Unlike most of the market, Scancell is cashed-up and actively running trials.
I'd be amazed if there aren't at least a couple of material bits of news in September - possibly including an antibody deal.
The market seems to have gone to sleep - but I'd expect a wake-up call once the institutional players are back from the beach....

Just for the record, they have now bought back about 4.4mn shares so have spent just over £1 million. Plenty of capacity for more…..unless the market catches up first.
News looms (for every company) at the start of September.

I see they are integrating with nine new meter types. That rather suggests they are being asked to work with a wider range of meter suppliers - in which case more big orders from India may be on the way?

Also there is the reference to new products which can be fitted to existing meters, which is intriguing….

Sounds to me as if the coming year may see a big growth spurt.

I don’t think there is anything in the price for Covidity at this point. But it is worth noting that Moderna’s vaccine is tweaked for Omicron (which everyone acknowledges is not a particularly concerning variant) whereas Covidity is aimed at the Beta (South Africa) variant. In addition, Covidity is more focused on boosting T cells.
In sum, they are not directly competing.

Which is the more effective and long-lasting at dealing with a range of variants? We don’t yet know!

It looks to me as if they are stepping on the gas to buy shares at this level, perhaps with some news due around month end. VN extensions & 125 prospects followed by a 125 farm-in?

Looking forward to the long-delayed rerating towards at least NAV.
