I’m finding it very hard to interpret the overall message correctly. It seems to suggest short term issues regarding sales but, predictably, as always the longer term is rosy. I’m not sure how many times you can put that message out and the market believes you.

Looks like they really are starting to deliver now. ‘Meaningful revenues’ from CD4 in the next 12 months then. Interesting terminology as they’re giving themselves a bit of wriggle room but we can safely say this means at least a decent increase in sales.

unv - Yes it does seem they are beginning to turn things round and making progress.

Big announcement would be WHO prerequisite approval for bulk tender orders by NGO’s. I hope they will achieve that with the first test. If not it’s the advanced test. I expect to see the SP advance toward the 26p target in H2.

So the Planning Application is officially closed for any representations. Only ONE comment on the site in objection and I can't see any representations written in. So to me that all looks VERY positive unless any late representations haven't been added to the site yet. I'll keep an eye on it. Anyone know that date for the planning meeting? Munch?

Bottomz - well we do know that MWG will be the operator responsible for the construction of the plant. Therefore it’s reasonable to assume they will employ the necessary people, contractors, services to the build. It’s also reasonable to assume they will receive payments at various agreed milestone stages of the project plus an ‘upfront’ payment at the start. This should provide the capital required to undertake the various stages. You can be sure all this would have been agreed in the detailed contract discussions. The Gib govt would not have chosen MWG if they did not 100% believe they had the technical and operational capability.

It’s just down to the planning decision now (which is due in the next couple of weeks) and then, if it’s a Go, it should be full steam ahead. I’m antIcipating on a Go we are back well into double figures.

Watching closely and intending to build a position. But unless Airbus announce an order short term there’s no hurry. And my sense is that the expansion into aerospace and turbine blades is planned more long term ie.2021 onwards. This is because they simply don’t have the manufacturing capacity at present to cope with the potential demand from these new areas of business.

So I’ll sit on my hands for now. Have a feeling that there will be a typical aim drift here, particularly after the SP consolidation. Targeting a sub 50p purchase or two.

Securing the Gibraltar contract is, and will be, transformational for this company. A £25m contract - nailed on - for a company valued at £7m is massive. A spike may well occur but the cash position will be transformed and provide a firm floor under the SP as the company receives cash instalments at the various stages of the project. So, no more doubts about funding and the company with a creditable feather in its cap.

I don’t want to be out of this when the planning approval comes through.

Still only ONE person objecting on the planning site and closes tomorrow. Hardly a mass revolt.

As has been said should go through comfortably unless there is a last minute rush of objections.

gary - sadly I think you are correct. I suspect there’s an overhang here now that’s going to take some time to clear. No demand either. There may still be at least one substantial seller as well. Glad I got out straight after the results.

I think we’ll see this complete a huge H&S at around 6p.

If so, as others have stated, we might move quickly upward once resistance smashed.

SP has firmed up noticeably since last Thursday morning. Indeed I can’t see any sells since then and nice and strong so far today.

Even after todays acquisition they are still sitting on over £4m of cash. Roughly half is equity cash and the other half issuance of loan notes. Just sitting there doing nothing. In, say, 6/7 months time they'll be paying interest on the loan notes and thats going to be a six figure sum pa.

Not happy with this companies direction. Unless they make some blinding acquisitions and reasonably quickly this is looking like a strategic bloomer. A shame because MI has managed this company impeccably until now.

We’ve quietly hit 2p again. Will it hold?

john- my view on Eldorado is that they only ever held 50% of a 1m Oz resource - so 0.5m and they are a very large company looking for multi multi million Oz prospects. They’d sat on Salinbas for a long while and had far larger strategic prospects elsewhere to develop thus the disposal.

I prefer to focus on the shrewd Kerims interest. In Kerim we trust!
