Lordmakealot - no need to apologise but this is an exploration/development company and these types of companies often do not make any revenue but seek crystallisation of their assets by other means ie.partnering with larger companies, selling on assets, or possibly takeover. All these things are becoming more likely as the gold price rises.

Gold exploration companies are the last to start rising in a gold bull market but when they do the returns can be substantial. And LEX has some very attractive assets in SA and the value of their current resources exceeds their market valuation.

Interesting. On the face of it looks like a sell given the price yesterday but there are two parties to every transaction so who bought it? Also, if was a sell, and this is a big trade by LEX standards it barely moved the price.

The Shell 100MW FID took about 7 months to be concluded.

It’s now been over 6 months since the 500MW Capacity Reservation. Whilst it is another customer it’s not unreasonable to think that the FID will be forthcoming in the near term on that basis.

You guys are over complicating this and engaging directly with an online troll. It seeks attention good or bad. Doesn’t matter. Just filter and it’s done. It’s very easy to do just do it. After a while I guarantee the troll will become bored if no responses and will go somewhere else where it gets attention.

Notice today when the price is slightly up the volume is also higher. It took until lunchtime yesterday to reach the volume we already have within first hour of trading. Yesterdays exaggerated drop was on v low volume.

And when most existing and long-standing shareholders have an average miles above 20p how the hell does that ‘align’ with them?

Frankly it’s taking the p*ss. The ‘revenue’ numbers are there to catch the eye and seduce potential investors.

In what is currently a low volume stock. Going to need a LOT of sellers and you are just not going to get them at this level in a stock which is valued at really little more than cash. No value given for anything else such as the world leading PEM IP. Most of the stale bulls have been flushed out.

Investors are now looking for recovery not some fantasy bad news lurking.

The CEO is handing out plenty of hints to the contrary and we will see come the end of the month.

Look at their overall portfolio in SA and USA not just this asset.

Many many Multi multi million ozs of gold. All for £17m MC.

Crazy market but at some point with record high gold prices their assets will be reflected in the valuation.

It was curious that tiny increase in the Qube short position. They were sitting under the 0.5% notifiable position and for a curious reason increased marginally just so they would ‘show up’ again. Hmmmmm. I wonder if our friends at Helikon have noticed how much they are falling under the spotlight now and asked for a bit of back up…..

Oh well that’s another 600k shares that need to be bought back.

IKFA - thanks for your opinion which happens to be one that I share. It’s what I’ve been saying essentially the past few days. The risk/reward ratio is NO LONGER in Helikons favour. Their profit has been made and, at very best case, there are breadcrumbs left, the feast has been had.

A warning - Don’t be greedy Helikon. As the old adage goes ‘A profit is NOT a profit until it’s in your pocket. You will do well to pay attention because that IS an indisputable fact.

Trouble - don’t be too hard on him. He’s having another bad day at the bedsit.

Meanwhile nearly 3p and 8% up on the day.

My screen may be bathed in green while others are green with envy.

But a small flurry of buying this afternoon.

I would argue one of the cheapest best value quality micro gold stocks if not the cheapest given where they operate and their assets.

Big buy at a premium obviously. OK this is not a retail investor. This is either an II or possibly even Helikon beginning to smell the coffee.

Either way it’s good news for investors.

I’m loving this. Should’ve done it weeks ago. All I can see is a swathe of green across the screen. Hilarious because it really highlights the desperation of the individual concerned to get attention - positive or negative it matters not.

It’s true you know ignorance truly is bliss where the filtered are concerned. And I expect a few have done it to me too which is absolutely cool with me.

IMHO they missed the best opportunity to close out their short in the second half of last year.

We are edging up again on very low volume. Not a good sign for a tiny hedge fund that needs to pay over a whopping £7m to buy back 18 million shares when this averages 1-2 million volume per day. There are signs of a tentative recovery here and also plenty of potential positive catalysts in the next year or so. Sector sentiment is improving viz a viz Plug Power.

A real headache for Helikon. Yes they are sitting on a paper profit, but that’s all it is currently, a paper profit and no one likes to see their profit eaten away do they…..

Yes I also saw this announcement this morning. Definitely positive news for the clean hydrogen sector.
