There's an awful lot of money in prisons which is why they jail so many people in the US. It's an industry out there.

Dontgive, I did email that link to the helpful guy at Eve (not at IR, though Mark is also helpful) more in the thought that the very worst that he can say is 'thanks but no thanks'.
TBH, I doubt that the prison service has much cash to improve mattresses in prisons but if they do spend more to get happy prisoners why not eve? – unless foam is indeed unserviceable and perhaps a difficult material to search easily. And 'being fit for a prison' might not be the best slogan. Having said that, people do make a living selling mattresses to prisons and they are not great mattresses.
It did cross my mind that we would not be surprised to see a prison menu by Jamie Oliver theses days and CC says she wants to improve everyone's sleep. Could possibly be useful PR; just think if lack of sleep was the cause of most crime?!

PL, do you mean the fun and games on Sunday (based on the 'new' figures, which was not a peer reviewed study) could have been a pre-cursor to today's RNS?

I couldn't see how to vote on HL either. They have enough shares to have the vote go their way so I'm guessing (guessing – like everyone else here) and my guess is that they just haven't bothered explaining as, why bother?

Having said that I don't myself see the justification for a belief that the the negative posts are correct. Management have a huge interest in making this work. GC was buying large tranches just weeks ago. Looking forward to seeing a value to TILS and Accustem in my HL account soon.

Just to correct Sparky on TILS. Indulge me for a moment pls; I do know this is the SNG BB.
These quotes from HL will clarify:

So to say that TILS are suspended and worthless is quite far from the mark. They are suspended while they move to the NAS. How they perform there is another thing. I'm in both SNG and TILS and happy to be so invested.

They've made a 'pitch' for a campaign that satisfies the 'diversity' brief of the competition so the money enables that particular pitch to go into action, so defo planned campaign - in theory. Whether they would have made THAT campaign without the competition, only CC must know.
I have to say that share bye-back doesn't appeal to me personally.

Personally I'd rather have a smaller % in an investing and growing company which will grow, rather than a bigger % in a company that's static, but I'm no expert. And (as wyn said) if 'they' take it private we get 3p or 4p per share and they get to keep eve for themselves, just before it does well. I don't want to be bought out for a loss.
I think the channel 4 thing is quite important. We know we sell more product the more we advertise. Our revenue should grow because of this 'runner up' position, if we spend the prize.
I don't think there's been a tweet about it, yet. Maybe CC is only ever going to tweet a 'win'; she's pretty competitive by her own description.

Assuming eve take advantage of the prize I guess we can expect a new campaign on channel 4 (and elsewhere) in early 2022. And we have to pay only 50% of the cost of airing on C4. Gotta be good.
