RE: I don't like Black Friday...9 Nov 2021 10:39
CC did rather celebrate last year's BF event so it must work for them. People looking to buy a BF mattress from any company will only buy from eve if there's an offer. Could be that what marketing spend they do make brings in 2, 3 (or more) times the usual number of sales so each sale is profitable.
What do I know; I'm just guessing.
The affiliates are pushing the morphée quite hard and with a kids' one on the way these things will help get the 2022 profit. I have to say I think £49 is steep enough for the CBD. I'm sure eve are making a few quid on each CBD sale at £49. If shopping baskets are being filled with more product in, it could be that slightly less web traffic is compensated for by bigger spend per transaction.
People only seem to mention mattress purchases on TP so TP doesn't reflect the non-mattress sales (of which there must be plenty) very well. With gifts I would suggest that people have a budget and then try to spend that much money. It means the gifts don't need to be discounted in the same way as mattresses do, around Black Friday. If a BF mattress purchase also leads to a morphée, candle or CBD sale, it's all going to help CC reach her goal.
