This was in a message a few weeks ago from HL: 'The deadline to sell your shares on the LSE via Hargreaves Lansdown is 4.30pm on Friday 15 October 2021.'.
And yet I just got a quote on a dummy sell, nothings changed at the moment.

Don't give, my reasoning would be: I don't think the summer is the peak time for eve products so they've kept their powder dry, coming into the autumn season when they'll get more sales for their advertising bucks. Also, it seems we are assured of at least some half price Channel 4 time by virtue of making their competition shortlist, so why not spend on that (and get double value) rather than on other media at full price.

I mentioned to Mrs Geeman that I was listening to Cheryl (first name now here) and, now on the eve theme, she told a neighbour had a big Emma box out for cardboard recycling this morning. She'd asked neighbour about her Emma, telling her that we have Eve. Neighbour said she'd read the reviews on Eve and then gone for Emma.
So that's a lost sale presumably down to the couriers letting people down rather than product reviews.
I hope they sort things out quickly.

Still a couple of weeks to wait.
It's a shame that we don't have xmas gifts (so far) as they'd all sell out if there's a shortage of Xmas presents on the shelves.
However, I guess gifts directly from the eve site should do well.
I wonder if the Bach flower sleep smells are indeed a replacement for CBD? Maybe something went wrong but eve now have something kind-of-similar..

Monomi, yes, Neil Woodford was heavily invested in eve. I'd say that it's still his money that's the cash in the bank now.
Maybe others would disagree but while it was painful when his shares were sold off by Link I think we should be grateful for his investment as it kept eve going.

Wadogara, yes, they say you can sell at higher cost and it'll mean a phone call to sell. And you won't be able to buy (just 'hold' or 'sell'.
That's what I'll be doing.
They say the deadline 'to sell' on HL is Friday and I assume they also mean 'to buy' is Friday too. Slightly ambiguous though isn't it?

For HL, this Friday 15th is the deadline for dealing. Just thought I reminder might be justified.

So Chairman now has: 'Following the purchase, Mike holds 1,500,000 ordinary shares in the company, representing 0.55 per cent. of the issued share capital.'

It's a decent amount. Today's was not some sort of symbolic buy; it's not the amount of money that's negligible to a business person. He must have faith in Eve. He has a better idea of the prospects that we do but it's still a gamble for him, just a better informed gamble.

Also, the fact the SP is unchanged shows that there's a limit to the effect a Director buy has. Would a similar buy from CC have been any different? Admittedly it may take a few days to sink in to the market (better that than a quick rise, and then fall back).
