Wow, it seems every man and their dog want a piece of AVCT at a lower price, I thought Zak Mir’s had some credibility, that has been blown this morning. Retweeting something from a “research company” saying AVCT will crash because another AntiBODY test has come on the market....

Guys, ODX is an antibody test, please remember we are producing a rapid antigen test, it is quite an important difference. The same confusion is going on at ADVF, DYOR do not listen to the noise this board is smothered with atm!

ODX is an antibody test, we are initially tackling the rapid antigen test which is harder to do with less competition.

I totally agree re post on TW, you don’t want him and his gang taking a negative view on a share you own, a comment on a high valuation just may be a flippant comment without much research, as on the face of it a 3 fold increase of AVCT does seem racy.

However how much is this company worth.

Net Loss: Net loss was $124.2 million for the fourth quarter of 2019 compared to $141.4 million for the fourth quarter of 2018. Net loss was $514.0 million for the year ended December 31, 2019 compared to $384.7 million for the year ended December 31, 2018.

They have a rather small revenue of $60m per annum.

AVCT made £5.5m revenue for the last finically period. So approx 1/15th of the company above.

By that measure AVCT is still bargain basement level imho.

Steelwatch, I think listing on the Nasdaq would enhance any sale valuation. Anyway just a bit of weekend fun.

O&W Yes, MOTIF bio not a positive example for share value more using it to show Zeus have experience. There is a bull market in AVCT’s tech (even prior to COVId 19) which is why the US counterparts can’t believe AVCT MCAP. Getting to the Nasdaq is the first step, then AVCT’s tech need to deliver.

I have been pondering this for a while regarding AVCT and I am just wondering if stitching a few things together something interesting may be going on here.

I posted earlier the closets competition we have for a POC being Sona, yet even they can’t match the low production cost of our Affimer regents. All these people posting about multiple competition in the space AVCT is going after. Reds to do some research!

Please stop all this cross ramping with some other hopefuls that are not matching what AVCT is offering and the world needs. A low cost, non professional saliva test. DYOR

Our only other GLOBAL competition (there is huge scope for many POC tests given the global demand) as identified by Myles, is Sona, they also have been selected by Cytiva.

The Canadian forum where it is listed and discussed have given little thought to their competition, it feels we have a healthy realism here. But the issue with Sona’s test as I understand it is that it uses the more expensive and harder to produce antibodies for it’s reagent.

They are hoping for sub $50 test, the world needs a sub $10 test, AVCT is the new easy to produce technology, should it prove to be effective it will validate very quickly AVCTs Affimer tech that has so many wide ranging uses in massive $b markets. Of course the Zika test AVCT produced is a pretty good validation already it is just this Covid 19 test has a lot riding on it.
