AVCT has done Wow already and is on the way to wow, wow, wow, wow, wow :-). Not the most constructive post but the potential here is mind blowing if the financials and test work out well here.

If they don’t we have so much depth I won’t be selling as I don’t think I will need to, I suspect a take out before I would consider selling. I know a lot of similar is said on AIM chat boards but AVCT is partnering with companies that could easily take us out at multiples of where we are, one of them may feel it is just easier to do so. Interesting times. DYOR.

That, yes is closed under lock down, but will be reopened as soon as all the COVID work needs to start, quite what point the derampers are trying to make I don’t know.

I know people waiting for a 60p entry, quite sensible really given it peaked in the 70’s. I have been on the ride from 30p to 15p to 70p and far from wanting to get off, the true story here has not been factored in yet imho.

Good choice, I sold my entire portfolio in Jan and have been patiently sitting in just 2 stocks that I selected as having and excellent COVID 19 play but also has significant value outside of COVID. Ignoring COVID 19 I think ORPH is cheap at the 2-3 multiples Cathal was initially aiming for. Throw in the potential uplift in business from COVID 19 and ORPH is looking an exceptional play to me. AVCT is in a similar boat with exciting new cancer technology and the Recently announced rapid antigen testing.

Other stocks have done better but this is a marathon and not a sprint and I can see ORPH having it’s day soon, maybe even this week with Cathal upping the coverage.

Trader, I would say a saliva based 10 min test is currently a USP.

Also take a step back and think, does it really matter if there are 10, 20 or 30 rapid COVID 19 test available, is that a problem, billions are needed! Seems there are lot of poster trying to undermine AVCT news, it matters little, the affimers and the partners electing to use the will speak for themselves.

Rich, I totally agree with below, testing is the way out of this very tricky situation and the implication to AVCT are huge. One thing that has crossed my mind is the recent placing to two HNWI hopefully increases the chances of a commercial success. AVCT have the tech we just need to rapidly and successfully get it to market and the rewards to AVCT could be huge. This as you also points out greatly enhances our position with regards to the Pre cision tech that looks equally game changing. Interesting times ahead.

Yes, and coupled with Dr Smith’s comments that it was technically easier than the Antigen test, that would be a great bit of news if GE are helping deliver that test to the US also. Quite happy to sit on my hand here.

Ade, you seem one of the many NCYT holders that are popping up on here and ADVFN and trying to subtly deramp the tech here. When I sold all my portfolio in mid Jan and chose two stocks to ride the long term battle we have with COVID 19, I chose AVCT and one other. I don’t want to get into the reasons I discounted others, but AVCT stood out as an astonishing short, medium and long term investment.

Now, I may have called you wrong and you may still be catching up with your research but AVCT Affimer technology is a game changer because it is quick to develop and manufacture, but more importantly is it’s high specificity and speed to deliver results. They produced a Zika virus test in 2016, not a huge money spinner given the demand but the COVID 19 test is not unproven technology rushed out to meet the new demand, the technology was developed for this very purpose a long time ago. Blown, DR Smith, in yesterday’s video, said anti body tests were easier to develop than the antigen test he just announced, maybe there will be another partnership to announce the anti body test which will be just as important to fight COVID 19?

Didn’t DR Smith Say that the antibody test was easier than the antigen test? Looks like we have more to offer here.

Yes clear 48p and blue sky. I bought at 26p, they tried to flush me out at 13p, but having bought in on the basis of amazing tech and the possibility of a fast COVID test I road out that, certainly not interested in selling anywhere near this level. Look at what others far less credible companies have done recently with a COVID link.

Check out AVCT they have just announced today the are working with a large pharma to make their Affimer technology available in a 10min saliva test that is very accurate and will be available end of May. It could be the key to unlocking the world. Testing people before they get on a plane etc. Fast testing is what the world needs. Not a recommendation and DYOR, but exciting times for the medical sector.

On ORPH, I am very happy that a man who is very good at promoting companies is currently silent. It makes me feel they are working hard behind the scenes and not spending times in the studio.

I posted this over the weekend, and with today’s impromptu placing it strengthens my view that the haste this funding has been done is because we need a solid balance sheet for the months ahead so AVCT doesn't impede on their critical cancer works, which has already been fully funded. Throw in today’s share price move and I am more optimistic now than when I first started buying in.
