Surely disposing of the shares is the main purpose. Cathal has served them up 3 opportunities, each piece of news could have driven substantial volume had they let the rally take hold and the so far have tripped over their trainers on every occasion. So they are either very bad at their job of disposal or other motives...

Either way when they go it will have had no impact on the valuation gap that I am starting to loose sight of given how far away it is now.

The rerate will come but the II selling atm seem to be a little jealous of what Cathal has pulled together and the timing of it. Their selling is too aggressively timed and done in a way to keep ORPH down. If they genuinely just wanted to exit their position then they would allow the first stage of the rerate to commence and sell into huge volume on a 50% up date, we would probably turn of 100m shares during such an event, giving them the chance to clear all shares and at a higher price....

Still, it does not bother me as I am happy to hold this year, FLU V alone could be worth many multiples of the current share price, HVIVO the same and Venn once the data base is completed the same again! AIMHO but I am a very happy holder with the string of positive news we have had recently.

Very good to see Flu V back in the spotlight. Flu currently has killed massively more people this season than the Corona virus and has also taken up a huge number of hospital beds globally.

Regardless of the Corona virus being here for a year or 3 there will be a demand for protecting against flu going forward imho.

Poor article stating HVIVO is not on the WHO list for possible vaccines. HVIVO are not the producers of any of the vaccines on the WHO list! We are the channel study producers/owners and service provider to those that want to test their products.

Apart from that good to get coverage.

On the positive side of the pull back from open is that we have closed the gap already so all the naysayers that seem to come out of the woodwork would be telling us this as the week progresses. Now it clears the way for a monumental rise and no gap to fill :-)

Moniman, I think the flu V ticket is very much game on.

I see it this way, Coronavirus is here and will take years to get under control. We need to work on a vaccine and a vaccine fast to protect against the next wave. It seems governments get this and will push this hard. Timelines will get compressed and hopefully we will have something in place for the vulnerable for next winter.

But, flu vaccinations have not been all that successful as it is a major guessing game what to inoculate against each year, often getting it wrong and choosing the wrong strains. That means many people catch it and many people take up hospital bed spaces. I see Flu V as more than a lottery ticket, more of a golden ticket. Right time right place. If we want to lift the global burden on hospital beds then Flu V could be the answer to keep beds clear while we deal with the Corona virus. Just my thoughts.

Ignore him, I just had to filter the clown on ADVFN. If you look at his posting history you can see he been caught in some awful crashes ESL, HUR etc...., looks like a very bitter and unsuccessful investor who has chosen to spam something he is envious of missing out on....

Bunson, we would need to hear from an RNS, but Cathal said they had been speaking to the governments, It is possible we can help expediting UK work within our facilities. Given HVIVO is world class it is possible we are helping other governments, so very much a case of seeing what the coming weeks bring.

Reggie, you are very pessimistic! I sold my whole portfolio In Mid Jan and repositioned into gold and Pharma that will gain much greater focus in the light of the recent outbreak. The market is only coming to terms with what has looked inevitable since the begging of the year. If you are a holder just chill, AVCT may throw a few surprises your way in the coming weeks. They certainly have some very interesting therapies that could be used by our partners going forward, along with all their other current projects.

With the imminent golden cross that should hit tomorrow it will generate a lot more interest over the weekend. Seemed a good close of the gap to me, put a short in and test your theory.

True and I am happy to invest on that basis, Cathal has a clear plan and his 2-3x target this year is perfectly acceptable to me. However this is a fast moving landscape and the group Cathal has pulled together with the current focus on what it has to offer could blow Cathal targets, he himself stated sometimes you get lucky and HVIVO’s purchase was a blinder in current context.

Maybe they were waiting for the right climate to achieve the best possible partner and financial deal. Now seems a pretty good time to closing a deal with the focus on virology. As Cathal says, “sometime you just get lucky” :-)

Two acquisitions have been made since 2p! Nothing has been added on for the HVIVO purchase which was done at 6.1p. Current £30m cap for HViVO alone is very cheap when you consider £120m was spent on it recently during the Woodford days.

The first phase of the market correction ORPH became the baby out with the bath water IMHO. Everyone selling indiscriminately (although relative strength of ORTH was a good sign). Also as posted below many people have underestimated the significance this new pandemic. ORPH could not be better position to help and to be able to buy in below the price Cathal has seems a bit of an anomaly to me.

Many vaccine are being developed but the area that takes s time is the clinical evaluations before approval. Interestingly many people are quoting 2021 for a vaccine but Cathal indicated in X54V’s video our facility can prove things out in 3 months. Now I am not sure if you need 3 phases or if given the circumstances that can expedite things, but it is possible Hvivo could help bring the all important vaccine to the market this year.
