I should add that Ceres started as a spin out from Imperial College London and gained a lot of their early funding from Government.

Yes you could argue that the EU would be wary of using subsidies for smaller companies.

But the Eqtec collaboration with a respected institution, Lorraine University, totally changes the situation and makes a funding request very creditable.

This could be very good news for Eqtec - especially in France with the Lorraine University collaboration.

The directors will not even consider shareholder returns and will also be blind to shareholder dilution.

It may be annoying but that always applies, regardless of the size of the company - largest shareholders are always looked after when there is dilution, but they still end up investing more.

We need more large investors here - preferably customers or partners like Wood - lots more shares in sticky hands.

Clearly we still have a fair bit longer to wait here to see an improvement in the SP - it could continue to flat line for months, even years, depending on business fortunes and dilution.

But the potential rewards are great however you won't get it right all the time and predicting when you will is virtually impossible. As always its best to spread the risk between companies in different sectors.

Any dramatic increase in the oil price will simply encourage Government's around the world to increase windfall taxation on oil companies.

There is a precedent now and pressure from public opinion is behind increasing taxation, a pressure that any Government has to act on, as we saw in the UK last May.

So, its hardly surprising that with market conditions the way they are, that the SP here along with many other AIM companies is flat or falling.

Meanwhile, its essential that directors of growth companies maintain a positive outlook - its part of the job - you have to drive the company forward - that means that sometimes you are likely to over promise - its all part of the game.

Investors of a nervous disposition should probably stick to Premium Bonds!

Dip probably exaggerated by shorts taking advantage of a red day and positioning to close early next week or even after todays close. Currently 5 active shorts accounting for 3.47% and all in profit.

Transition is essential and fossil fuels need to be part of that transition - pure common sense.

However, transition is now happening much quicker than most people realise and it will only accelerate as fossil fuels increase in price.

Therefore, future investment in fossil fuels will probably only be viable if development costs are very low, demand for fossil fuels is likely to fall dramatically and demand will be kept low by carbon taxes.

The energy market will look very different by 2030.

I respect you views as an investor, but I think you are totally wrong in this instance.
Not being an investor gives a totally different perspective to the hydrocarbons industry, especially the pressures it is facing regarding climate change for Governments and the media.

I think the bus trials were just a leg in for Ceres, they were quite limited in scope, using natural gas as the power source.
Agree that the joint venture is everything for Ceres this year, including the move to the main market, but we have no reason for pessimism.

Great news that Enquest are fully committed to the transition to hydrogen at Sullom Voe.
Now action is required to make the company an investment opportunity again.
