It does seem that market conditions for tech shares have certainly got much better and we should start to see a return to health long term gain on selected stocks.

There is just one short with a position over 0.5% left in the game.
Millennium took a 0.5% stake on the 26th Jan at 145.05p, so they are showing a big loss.
Maybe with active buyers and Millennium starting to bale out the SP has been energised?

So why is there a fixation on this board for attacking renewables when oil is needed for 1001 other uses other than energy generation?

The point is that renewables are cheaper in some counties but not others.
In the UK we are lucky that our renewable power produced mainly from wind is cheaper and the more we build the more generation costs fall.
The problem currently is that we still need an average of 40% Natural Gas to maintain electricity generation and also for the gas network.
Finding ways to reduce the dependence on Natural Gas is the priority.
The Nuclear Power option will help greatly with electricity generation especially as the amount of wind power produced increases - nuclear is a good fall back.
SOEC technology using green hydrogen produced by renewables is fully developed and will be adopted by industrial users within the next five years - partners with Ceres include Bosch, Weichai [Chinese State] and Shell.

The return of dividends for M&S shareholders is vital because apart from the financial benefit, it will also mark the point when the market considers that M&S is in good shape again and can move on to set greater goals.
We need to see the SP build in value, leading to a return to the FTSE100.

Not sure that its possible to give actual timed predictions because so much depends on the macro.

We saw 250p+ in Jan last year, so I think that is is the starting target after dividends are reinstated and the economy shows good signs of improvement - probably within 3-6 months of reaching that point.

After that it up to the company to continue its excellent progression, if that happens we should see a return to the FTSE100 with the SP heading to 400-500p within a few years.

It looks highly likely that the SP will smash 500p tomorrow after the FED just raised US Interest Rates by 0.25% - good news for all!!!

Investors need a glass half full attitude to invest in Eqtec.

All these glass half empty comments are so counterproductive and depressing.

It always takes a long time to grow a company with lots of ups and downs, mixed with success and failure, just be patient, the potential is here and something will click soon.

The volatility is likely to remain Stupmy and its usually the shorts who loose out in the end - Ocado always have the capacity to surprise the market with a contract win.
Also look at CWR.

It seems that all shorts over 0.5% have probably closed in the last few days.

Short Europe is recording no active positions in CWR at 18.59 on 31/01/23.
Short Tracker still has Wace at 0.94% but they take longer to update.

So, shorts closing could have pushed up the SP marginally but buying more than likely down to strong sentiment driven by expectations for Ceres.

I know this has been posted before, but its so important that it deserves another view.
To me, the most important thing is not just the efficiency that can be achieved but that is can be done with cost effective components.
