So this Californian pipeline that seems to have grown so swiftly could be the start of something big for Eqtec in the US, and it all resulted from North fork.

My guess is that its the Biochar production that is turning out to be very lucrative.
Companies, including Microsoft, heading for net zero are able to offset their carbon usage by buying carbon credits based on Biochar production - the Biochar is then used by farmers.

This could also be a very exiting development for Eqtec in other markets such as Italy - they have also said they intend to produce Biochar.

Quite an interesting situation developing with the shorts at the moment that could have the potential to push up the SP.
Most of the volatility in the SP since last Autumn has probably been exaggerated by shorting activity.

We have all 5 that are in the game at the moment and all are showing profit.
3 have recently taken out their positions and one is much older showing a small profit but Shaw are sitting on a massive profit with a short that started when the SP was at 925p last November.

Bosch would never make an offer for Ceres unless it was in collaboration with Weichai, who are ultimately owned by the Chinese state.
Bosch have a very considerable presence in China - mainly manufacturing for their electrical products.
The last thing that they could afford to do would be to upset the Chinese.

Don't expect any logic with ITM.
They have a new broom now and sentiment will be running high again and the SP will probably soar again on massive volume from the traders.
They have tried to grow the company much too quickly and reality has come back to bite them.
Personally, not sure they have the right tech, so defiantly wouldn't invest although they are a fantastic trade and I made 200%+ a few years ago before I lost my nerve.

ITM produced a hugely significant interim and strategic update today - no telling what effect that will have on the SP here today.

Providing the China deal goes ahead followed by an entry into the main market and more good news from other projects, we could see the enhanced sentiment taking the SP into heavily over bought territory - it happens again and again when tech companies deliver big time on their potential.
So, I see no upper limit to the SP.

The Chinese are back from their New Year Holidays next Sunday, so I guess from next Monday we are on countdown, but the timescale to signing is unclear.
Ceres have repeated twice that their is just a few commercial details to be sorted between Bosch and Weichai, so I guess we could get news by the end of February.

We are all just stating our views at a given time and these will change over a period of time as the economy and the companies we follow react and change their strategies, or make mistakes, or do something good, or win a big contract - nothing is static.

Also, most of us have different trading strategies - short term - long term - much longer term etc etc.

Personally, I like to research a company but don't overanalyse - that just confuses - I generally run with a gut feeling that the investment will turnout to be right in the end and this generally works.

Ocado has been my second least successful investment of 8 over the last few years but I am still hopeful that it will come right in the end - it may not be a strong buy just at the moment but its certainly still a hold.

The Norwegians are an aspirational model for all European nations and beyond to look up to.

I repeat they have exploited gas and oil reserves with tight emission controls and have maintaining high production levels.
In the mean time they are also using profits from oil and gas to develop renewables.

Also the Norwegian Sovereign Wealth Fund has spread its very substantial investment around the globe, with an eye to combating climate change and developing renewables.

To move forward it is essential that we remain positive - negative comment is counterproductive and creates a climate where nothing is achieved - some contributors to this board seem to have a similar world view to that of the Daily Mirror.

Fully agree that Norway has the very best energy strategy.

One of the best examples of this is the agreement between the German power company RWE and Equinor.
RWE is the company currently expanding its coal mine in Germany, that has been in the news recently.
The agreement is for natural gas fired power stations that will be built hydrogen ready in Germany and converted to Hydrogen as Equinor's production of Hydrogen increases - a pipeline will link the power stations to the source of the hydrogen in Norway.

That will change mrc as the public see the results of their endeavours.
Its Big oil that's leading the change to renewables.
Also compare the share prices between big oil and the smaller companies - clearly the City approves of Bog Oil's strategy.

AB certainly isn't stuck between a rock and a hard place, he simply has to follow the lead of big oil, including Equinor, and make a move to energy transition.
He has the perfect opportunity to do that at Sullom Voe, with the other partners, in the project to create a green energy hub.
Meanwhile he can get on with developing Bressay and Bentley to link in with Kraken.
Suddenly the company becomes a very good investment again and the SP goes north.

But the loony environmental groups in no way represent the renewables industry or the wider green movement and their presence is not at all welcome.

We need a balanced and orderly approach to energy policy not a divisive one.

I doubt that the biomass would be stored undercover because the risk of combustion would be too high and it would be very expensive.
Its more likely that its stored outside using the heat produced in storage to control moisture content.

The problem could be as its a new operation that the stored product hasn't built up enough heat to dry it out because its too fresh with sap and wet from the rain.

As they build up their storage levels this problem will very quickly be resolved.

If Altair were selling or buying we WOULD get an RNS recording the fact.
This rule is always followed because any holder in any company with more than 3% could manipulate the share price to their advantage if their trades were not transparent.
