It will come down to clothing sales at full price and margins as it always does with MKS - some retailers got hammered over the summer or rather the non summer with plenty of clothing left in the sales - hopefully this can be offset with increased margins - lets see - good luck all

Decided to sell my holding at 396p - 8pct profit - may well go a lot higher but want to keep some powder dry for after the US Election to see what plays out - gl to all still holding

Tawse/Claire - whoever gets in will have to drive growth - no other option in order to pay down debt - the Middle East situation will always be around - it is too ingrained in the mindset of the people to be sorted in my lifetime imho - a win win for me going forward and I will just keep reinvesting the divis until it goes substantially north.

I am down around 8pct here atm but have kept adding as it has fell and will continue to do so - countries throughout the world have no option but to seek growth as that is the only way out of the debt they are in - oil, gas et al will all play a part in this - growth will be facilitated by interest rate reductions coming down the pipe in the US, UK and Europe - Middle East tensions could pause the growth but ultimately it will increase the oil price - a win win - I am in this for the long haul and in the meantime I will keep reinvesting the divi -

Decided to add at the close for 616p - lets hope I have got the buy in price correct this time! - The way I see it - if staff costs go up across the board it will play out over the whole pub sector and prices will increase accordingly - Christmas round the corner is boom time for the pubs and food inflation is still falling which gives scope to offsett some costs - plenty to look forward to - gla dyor etc.

Kpa1 - no I am not selfish I just have a different opinion to you - I would also like to see better public services but growth for the UK is the issue here and should have taken priority in the budget - hammering businesses will ultimately cut jobs as business look to retain profitability by reducing the number of staff they have, or in some cases business will go under - the end result is less jobs, less revenue and less growth - the OBR says that the budget measures will not make a difference to growth after five years - giving money to the public sector and hammering the private sector is lunatic economics as the private sector is where the growth comes from to facilitate the public sector borrowing

I think the question that people need to be asking themselves here, is not whey haven't more supermarkets taken up cfc's but why haven't existing supermarkets with cfc's given up on them ? - when one looks at the budget and the enormous pay increases that need to be facilitated by the supermarkets along with the holiday pay, sick pay, pension commitments et al you have to come to the conclusion that more and more of these establishments will simply have no choice but to use robot technology - I have been adding on the dips here and will continue to do so.

Added to my holding this morning at 373.2p - losing on this one atm but after the last divi has paid and the new divi has paid I will only be marginally down if the share price keeps at 373.2p - a no brainer as far as I am concerned, and I will be surprised if pi's and funds do not replicate prior to ex divi next week - lets see
