Sold up here this morning at 25p to break even and it was the right call looking at the sp now - just about all UK stocks getting a hiding atm - being walked down before the budget - I took the view it will only get worse in the lead up to the budget announcement so better out than in imho - gl to all existing holders - dyor etc.

Re Redbird - one must also remember that the dollar vs pound is supporting an American bid atm - pound almost on the 131 handle atm whereas in Sept it was over 136 - far cheaper for an American company to buy right now with the pound at this level - gla dyor etc.

UK Gilts down 1pct now on the back of daft Rachel Reeves pursuing the lunatic economics of spending more on the welfare state and the public sector and taxing business and the private sector for all it's worth, whilst telling anyone who will listen that growth is their number 1 priority, ffs the market is TELLING her what to do and she and her cronies are still digging the hole - gl dyor etc.

Sold 25pc of my holding a few days ago at 476p - decided to buy them back this morning ex divi at 459p - too many plus points with BP at the moment going forward, makes sense imo to buy back even though the divi is in the drop at 6p this morning - gla dyor etc.

Hey Crossley thanks re IAG matey - re TW - Guidence retained so I will be adding today if it falls substantially - elephant in the room is of course the budget, - The Gov that talks the talk re growth but fails to walk the walk, - incentivising the housing market would be one way of kick starting growth as so much revenue comes from it - my gut feeling is they will do this in some shape or form - markets at all time highs right now so TW could go south today by some distance today on profit taking - lets see - gla dyor etc.

Yup - all those Christmas turkeys from Marks to be delivered along with all the other festive food that everyone treats themselves to at this time of year - Marks have sold out of a third of their Christmas food already so I would not be surprised if Ocado increased their market share even further over the next few months - bring it on! - gld dyor etc.

Quickwin - thanks - it is very difficult to call the bottom on share price falls - I was around 2pct down at cop with IAG on Friday but now around 2pct up - if it makes you feel any better I have only managed to get the absolute bottom in a share price once in 30 years of investing! - gl dyor etc.

BRC UK Retail sales figures which were pretty dire this morning are taking there toll on MKS and others today, Tesco Sainsburys all down around 3pct as I am typing - unemployment increasing only adds to the gloom and belt tightening ahead of the budget - will wait now until the budget for clarity before adding anymore - gla dyor etc.

TU tomorrow morning, will be interesting to see if TW are seeing some upward momentum in terms of the recent rate cuts by lenders, increased mortgage volumes and the increments in house price valuations by The Halifax and Nationwide BS - lets see - gla for tomorrow, - dyor etc.

US shutdown looks like it is coming to an end - good news for SSPG - UK interest rate cut nailed on for next month now after those inflation numbers today - not much more downside here imho - lets see - gla dyor etc.
