You can expect Irenic CM to be banging the drum here now with regards to taking SSPG private - anyone wanting to buy companies like SSPG want to see some meat on the bone - they got that today - pound vs dollar 134 now against 137 in Sept when Irenic CM touted SPPG - much cheaper now for a US investor to buy than it was in Sept - gla dyor etc.

i spoke to a colleague a few moments ago who confirmed what nabmth said in an earlier post - so now i get why trustpilot stopped short with regards to denying all the allegations here which is why i sold earlier - once you unearth a ****roach there will almost certainly be more down there if you dig a bit more - the sp now back down to 127p and falling - you still buying katstrangler?? - dyor etc.

Disappointed with that response from Trustpilot and have sold at a small loss - nowhere near enough of a denial - I was expecting litigation to be announced tbh - the market is seeing it the same way so I wouldn't be surprised to see it fall further - gla dyor etc.

Pleased I sold these a few weeks ago at 176p for a small profit - the reduction in holding by JP looks like it is tanking the sp atm - may buy the ones I sold back if it keeps falling - lets see - gla dyor etc

Buyer at @ sub £1 , not before" - Avocet, exactly how are you working out the math on your share prices? - until you can work out the basic value of a share on forward earnings, DCF OR DDM method, I would recommend you stop investing - any of these calculations of sp value are way way higher than 100p mate - gl dyor etc.

As I expected and stated in previous posts - good numbers here - the problem with the market of late with many good numbers that have come in is that the stock has been sold off on a buy the rumour sell the news basis - I took profit on some of my stock here a few days ago but will buy them back if it falls today - lets see - gla dyor etc.

Garonne - really not sure what all the fuss is about here re defence and the Russian/Ukraine war - defence spending will go through the roof in all countries going forward BECAUSE of this war and the threat of Russia moving into Europe going forward - in any case I believe the revenue for defence is only around 25pct of the total income at Melrose, the rest being provided by civil aviation - gl dyor etc.

MM's may be short on stock here - investors currently willing to pay higher than the bid price to secure stock - in that scenario the sp will always go up - doesn't matter if the volume of sales is 5x more than purchases - good signs these - lets see if it can keep moving north - gla dyor etc.

Personally I don't think there is a problem re their food - if you look on the MKS website over 60pct of its online Christmas food has sold out including the £195 Beef Wellington - for me the issue they may have going forward is with clothing - the 16Arlington collection looks like it has not done well and these were high value items so the impact on margins will be big come sale time - other clothing lines are on sale at 20pct off - this is not something exclusive to MKS - just about all clothing brands are in the same boat as people have cut back due to the budget fiasco - gl dyor etc.

" - progressive tax is the fair way " jj - you need growth right now in order to pay off the debt mountain - no problem to give people a decent wage but bloating the public sector and welfare is not the way to do it - you need to create growth by boosting the private sector which creates growth not the public sector which creates no growth whatsoever - once you have the growth then you can start allocating money out - liebour are doing it in reverse, handing money out without facilitating the growth - the best way to get ahead now if you are a single man is find someone to marry, have 10 kids then laugh at people as they go to work while you watch daytime tv - and btw i lived in a rented council house and earned the square root of **** all before i came down from yorkshire and made my fortune in london so believe me i know what it is to have no money - gl
