Nice uptick on results this morning - an easy 5pct profit here - nice - looking to add more on any weakness - gla dyor etc.

19.7p to sell now - crikey - I was thinking about buying back the ones I sold at 25p last week but there does not seem to be a floor here atm - as soon as it turns blue it is sold down again- will wait until the dust settles tomorrow and go from there - gla dyor etc.

I think TW could do ok in the budget tomorrow - Liebour have hung their hat on more affordable homes - I expect some incentives to first time buyers in the budget tomorrow in order to facilitate this - I think the market is starting so sense this may well happen as TW goes steadily north - it will go further north if this plays out tomorrow - lets see - gla dyor etc.

Sold a few at 184p a few days ago and bought them back today at 170.5p - happy to keep holding - long term this will come good imo - gla dyor etc.

I took a risk here yesterday and doubled my holding on the dip at 601p before the budget on the basis that Reeves will not impose any slot machine tax on pubs given the parlous state that they are already in - additional taxes here would imo create more pub closures and consequently more people unemployed, - let see how it plays out - gla dyor etc.

I think a lot of investors have been spooked with some airline results of late and will regret selling this share in the lead up to these results - I kept adding here on the way down and kept the belief that people will NEVER give up on their holidays, they are sacrosanct - with regards to this, EZJ is now expected to log £450m in pretax profit by 2030 from their holiday arm - This is the jewel in the crown here - if you are short today here you are in for some pain - lets see - gla dyor etc.

Yup agree with Rich here - nearly all UK retail shares being smashed today pre budget - personally I would be very surprised if Reeves hammered UK business again as any further taxes will be simply be offset by increasing prices on food/clothes/services etc which would fuel inflation that the gov need to get a grip on in order to facilitate further interest rates cuts to start growth - this is the ONLY way out of reducing the debt mountain - in the meantime MKS property, plant etc is now almost as much as the MCAP - I have added a few more at 323p - next stop 317p looking at the graph - lets see how it plays out from here - gla dyor etc.

Agree with all the below - the eps increase alone should rerate this but with this stock it is all volume dependent so who knows where it will finish today - hopefully a good blue day - lets see - gla dyor etc.

Guys - I wouldn't get too concerned about the shorts - these are not NAKED shorts - small positions which will be hedged via options etc - Blackrock is 6pct long on SSPG so their short can be discounted altogether - the sp has been driven down by algos and overreaction to the overall economic state imho as stated in my previous post - the same thing happened at BME which I also bought recently at lows - Blackrock have now taken a huge position in BME to take advantage of this and the share has risen to 168p from a floor at 154p - gla dyor etc.

"Carrington, don’t you think it would be the perfect case for lowering the interest rate further?" - Lara - UK rates should have been cut last month imho - BOE now behind the curve - Dec rate cut nailed on and should be 0.5pct not 0.25pct - businesses are realing atm and will soon start laying off unless they can see some light at the end of the tunnel - problem for Europe is they have already made numerous rate cuts and it has made no difference to date - Germany is an absolute mess - only Spain doing well in Europe and thank goodness for that with Alsa which is the only thing propping MCG up right now - gl dyor etc.

I sold my holding here a few days ago at 25p to break even, the sp is now at 21p so down around 15pct - the pmi figures for Europe this morning weren't great and the German figures were dire -people are being economically squeezed and money is tight - my nervousness here for holders is the recovery seems dependent on everything going right for MCG - it would only take something like another strike for example or a negative budget for the sp to go down further - worrying times - gla dyor etc.

Just bought back in here at 586p - love this company, fantastic results of late - regardless of if the Russia/Ukraine conflict is sorted, defence spending will rise all over the world going forward as a consequence of what has already happened - will add more on further weakness - gla dyor etc.
