Trimmed at 625.4p - gla dyor etc.

Looking at the graph there is plenty of resistance here at around the 630p mark so I may look to trim going forward on the shares I bought at 552p a couple of weeks ago, that is basically a 12pct profit on the sp now at 625p so not to be sniffed at - gla dyor etc.

Added a few more back at 438p - interestingly the spread was at 0.1pct - so there appears to be plenty of business going through the books at this price - lets see how it plays out today - gla dyor etc.

I have said it on this board many many times - Ocado will continue to take market share from other grocers not just in the UK but worldwide - inflation has pushed wages up so much there is no alternative but to use robots with the added incentive of no sick pay, no maternity leave, no holiday pay, no future wage rises etc etc - Ocado will reach inflection point soon and go into profit - when that happens 254p a share will look silly believe me - where are all the doomsters btw? - only last week so called investors were touting 192p -🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 - gla dyor etc.

I did say in a previous post that MKS is likely to do very well on their food update but their clothing update with severe discounting is likely to affect margins - this is playing out this morning atm with Ocado racing up on a broker upgrade and MKS struggling on the back of Next results - Next gained hugely online at the expense of MKS cyber attack issues and it looks like the market is pricing that in before the update - gla dyor etc.

Bought a few back of the ones I trimmed this morning at 442p for 431.9p - will add back more on further weakness - gla dyor etc.

Decided to sell my holding here this morning at 422p for a 10pct overall profit, happy with that - gl to all currently holding -

Was only a matter of time before the market realised the sp here was well oversold, I said it in previous posts - reversing almost rerating atm in front of your eyes - Enjoy😀- gla dyor etc.

Going to surprise a few people" - the problem though is the sales are going through at a 50pct discount and they have also carried surplus Summer stock into the sale - so the margins will be affected, by how much remains to be seen - Next will give some clues when they update on the 6th Jan - they like Marks also have a lot of stock in their sale atm as have all the other retailers - the food will do well, it is the best you can buy and people want the best at Christmas and their Christmas online food sold out a week or so before Christmas - the question one has to ask oneself is will the profit/margins on the food be enough to offset the margin loss on clothing - we will find out soon - gla dyor etc.

Johnjo "What scenario could present a more challenging combination than: escalating costs, margin compression, top-line sales deceleration, and fragile consumer confidence?" - in the sp already imv - Looking at the last 20 odd years UK people will have a good Christmas no matter what - times are tight for a lot of people right now which is why they will navigate to B and M this Christmas - me and my wife are by no means poor and even she went in there to buy 6 jars of my favourite coffee which was around 2 quid cheaper than Asda! - if she is doing that how many more are??? - gl dyor etc.
