Percy - I think you need to calm down - you have made some pretty questionable statements on this board and on the Ocado board also - on the 5th Dec re Ocado you said "Folk must be totally crazy to put money into this" - the share price at the time was around 184p it is now trading at 247p - a 25pct gain - you said today you would buy MKS back at 210p which indicates a 35pct fall on todays closing price at 326p - that would put MKS Mcap at 4.24B when their property, plant equipment etc is currently at 5.4B and they hold nearly 1b in cash - Merry Christmas - gl dyor etc.

Decided to go back in here at 202p - looks oversold on fundamentals - vet practices still going strong - retail side still struggling but the whole of UK retail is right now - will add on further weakness - hopefully the interest rate cut and future cuts will add some momentum going forward - lets see - gla dyor etc.

"FFS- OCADO I S NOT A UK RETAILER" - of course not Sangijuelas1 - nevertheless it is/will be effected by UK Macro Retail data simply because it has a retail element to it - gl dyor etc.

May well be a reversal here this morning with those UK Retail sales figures - est at plus 0.4pct and came in at minus 0.1pct - UK market and stocks have risen substantially over the last few days so a pullback is on the cards imo - lets see - gla dyor etc.

UK Retail figures this morning - not very good at all - mom forecast was for 0.4pct and it came in at minus 0.1pct and food bombed - so may well be a pull back here today - lets see - gla dyor etc.

Anything which is in any way connected with defence is being sold off right now - some stocks are at lunatic valuations - anyone that thinks the war ending with Russia/Ukraine will somehow stop countries investing heavily in defence is deluded imho - next stop on the graph is 508p - not sure if it will get there but I will be adding on further falls and with greater volume than I have already on any further weakness - lets see - gla dyor etc.

Angle eye - I would caution against using graphs, double tops etc - personally I have never used short term graph analysis when determining if a share is oversold or toppy - concentrate on said company underlying financial health and fundamentals is the best way forward matey imv - gl dyor etc.

boe ****ed it up again by not cutting rates last month, now they are behind the curve - should really cut 0.5pct not 0.25pct on thursday - look for the boe vote breakdown and if any members vote for a 0.5pct cut - another rate cut is coming down the pipe pdq imv maybe sooner than feb, lets see - good news for the uk consumer and for iag - gla dyor etc.

Sold the remainder of my holding this morning at 187.5p - an overall 24.8pct profit - happy with that - there is probably still more to go north here but I have sold for the reasons stated previously, also I am too heavily in the airline sector overall now so looking to reduce my overall coverage in preparation for a recession in the UK - gl to all currently still holding/adding - dyor C

Yes I did consider the divi but with this share I took some profits before results and the holding I have left is not worth keeping in terms of the divi - I am up 24pct at cop today on the remainder of my holding so very tempted atm to close this one out - lets see what plays out tomorrow - gl dyor etc.

Back in the Hamilton Hall Liverpool St again on Saturday for pre Christmas dinner drinks - crazy busy - I managed to get to the downstairs bar which was around 3 deep and just made a tally of drinks being ordered around me, gin and tonics, prosecco, IPA etc - by my calculations there was around £200 a minute going over the bar downstairs and the upstairs bar was just as busy - bearing in mind this pub is open Monday to Saturday 7am to 1130pm and Sunday from 9am to 1030pm - if this is replicated throughout Christmas at JDW pubs then I think we could be in for some spectacular results come 21st Jan trading statement 😀😀😀- gla dyor etc.
