not at all - I voted remain as it happens confluence - I am not blind to see the issues with the EU though - France IS bankrupt as Ireland will be on a no-deal scenario , The Italian banking crisis is more or less at breaking point - Germany is now starting to decline and Greece is well just a basket case - your scenario is assuming a no deal- lets wait and see if the EU really wants to go down that route - not much leeway with interest rates to stimulate growth in the EU at the moment so I think a deal is there to be had - it is in the interest of both sides after all

hey nuri - Boris has proposed the end to the Irish Backstop as a solution - the EU have so far rejected it, so I believe it is the EU that will be driving a no-deal Brexit as they are in effect rejecting a proposed settlement - Boris far better than Corbyn imo - unless you think radical socialism will be good for share prices?

As a LTH of ITV I am encouraged by these results - makes them more of a target imo as companies looking to purchase other companies wait for said company to be at rock bottom, then make the pitch which is then more likely to be accepted - now there are signs of stabilisation and the share price is rising it concentrates minds in terms of takeovers - lets wait and see

A lot of the sells are cumulative, small sells from PI's atm - Not too worried going forward - I added to my holding at 209p and will add again after the ex dividend fall tomorrow - long term this share is so undervalued on nav - I think it will probably end up blue by 430 anyway as the fund managers wait to see if Wall St pulls us down anymore so they can secure a better buy in price.

Hi Poker - I am happy with the shares I added at 209p - may go down a little more based on sentiment (upcoming retailers results going badly) and/or brexit going badly - but I am in this for the long run - mks dividend pays next Friday and mine will be re-invested - market cap at 4 bill and free cash flow estimated at 1.5 bill over the next 3 years - even with the 40pct divi reduction it is still yielding 5pct - share looks undervalued to me - so on that basis I'm in

thought I would peruse the menswear section - bought several items and I must say the quality and price were very good indeed - I have bought in higher end retailers before like hugo boss/ted baker and used to buy in marks years ago - very impressed and if this is replicated throughout for woman's wear I think the share will rise pdq - note short selling reduced from 12pct to 5pct in the last 4 weeks - that tells me all I need to know - added at 209p

yes I read that aus - it confirms my thoughts of a few months ago - that private investment companies and indeed fund managers will be concentrating on income (dividend) stocks going forward which is why I will continue to top up on dips with bt -

now down to 4.07pct - - this is starting to look good - shorts closing along with bottom fishing and a Brexit conclusion could fuel a very good short term recovery me thinks

anyone short on this one Fruitster over the last 48 hours has taken the mother of all beatings - up 10p now at 270p adding the 13p gain yesterday - that is getting on for 10pct - I would suspect some shorts are closing right now fuelling the rise - always nice to see the shorters get a good hiding - dyor and gla and good weekend (it will be after today methinks)

beatroot - re dividend - MKS recently slashed their dividend by 40pct - the shares crashed to around 250p and have been steadily climbing back up ever since - I noted the shorts at the point their dividend was slashed and they were standing at 10.5pct whereas now they have been gradually reduced and are standing at 8.3pct as of today - maybe time for RMG to reduce by the same margin which would still yield a 6pct dividend and give A cash surplus for more investment - the share would probably bomb as MKS did but would give another buying opportunity - moreover it would take away the dividend being cut issue - in the meantime I will add on more weakness - gla dyor etc

got to be pleased with todays finish fruitster - as per my last post I did indeed fill my buy orders at 259p 269p - so happy overall and now showing a profit - onwards and upwards for the mighty RMG - Good weekend all

nuri - I think things will change going forward - growth stocks as such are becoming increasingly difficult to find - if you look at the us the valuations there are toppy to say the least - low risk high yielding stocks like RMG will start to become relevant as fund managers search for income going forward imo - I am not too worried about today and will continue to add and reinvest the dividend - gl dyor etc

some time ago and this is the result of it - obviously it was a successful trail, hence the news today - I have bought mks all the way down to the recent lows and am now in profit after re-investing dividends - lots of noise on this site about how mks are going under but there is still good money to be made on this share if you actually KNOW what you are doing
