freddie - i know odx holders like to think no news is good news and that something important is brewing in the background. but in reality this never seems to be the case. we know that even when they tweeted busy busy busy and big things coming - it was not the case.

i really can't see how the bod could possibly hide behind insider information as they have just released a trading update. they are clearly waiting on news about gov repayment dispute and whether they will keep CE mark but this would not stop them buying as they do not know the outcome.

i think the reality to be faced is that they are not prepared to buy in - even at this price. you can make your own conclusion on that

freddie - i think there were a lot of posts on twitter from shareholders who were unhappy with the sp crash from £1 and some of the behaviour of odx / wallbrooke eg tesla tweets . they clearly did not mind any positive tweets about the company but i suspect felt the growing abundance of negative tweets were detrimental to ODX prescence on twitter.

not stating the production costs does not extrapolate to no production costs.

odx would probably have to pay for cost of test to og and also the licence. i suspect they did it to cover dam contract rather than as an ongoing arrangement. i can't see og as a chinese company using up valuable capacity to help a competitor?

my thoughts on employees - is that there are still to many as regards the income coming in. that is one reason they are making a loss

kate - unfortunately your quotes raise more questions than answers:

1) no production costs? - how do you conclude that? og said they would make them - didn't say they would pay for them. i suspect odx will be paying for materials at the very least.
2) we don't know if there is a max og are willing to make for odx. they clearly have their own business to do. is a nominal supply agreement?
3) orders are more than production....ummm could mean what you think or that they have only a nominal supply agreement with OG which is currently less than orders. odx double speak again? why did they say cd4 was loss making and they were thinking of abandoning it - if they have been flooded with orders. i suspect they have low orders but an even lower capacity being supplied by alva
4) bottom line is that what ever model they are using - they are losing money and burning cash

the consesus of all the russians that i have heard speak about it is that putin is a bully. if you stand up to him he will back down. turks shot down russian jets and nothing happened. the west supplying arms to ukraine is in reality a declaration of war - let alone the sanctions. putin has no appetite for fighting the west if he can't defeat the ukrainians.

i think usa and west are to a certain extent happy for this war to contine to cripple russia long term. however it will possibly/probably force a global recession like we have never seen . it also will drive russia into china arms.

personally i think there will be a last big push for the east and then peace talks will have to come. putin will have saved face and got out before it turns badly for him...ukraine will keep their country with the east as a buffer zone

£1.20 was based on selling to the gov via a £375m contract. the covid picture is very different now...sold the factory at a loss to a competitor/ given up on sales in uk as abandoned CTDA / failed to provide all data to continue CE mark / no sales in europe notified since ce mark. the company has advised it expects no revenue from covid
£1.20 was something like £170 m market cap from memory. that is not going to be fulfilled with the possible revenues suggested by food intolerance test sales.

the direction of the sp this week will be telling. there was a little bit of froth when it bounced of its bottom.....speculation of takeovers etc allowed a bit of pump and dump. my prediction is the SP will drift down again. when is the next news due? and what will it be? good or bad? aim prices are driven by news . no news sp drops...

the main worry would be on cash burn - and what the bod intends to do ? can they sell enough or will they need to find finance from somewhere.

look at friday - without a few of the interesting posters it was tumbleweed. the likes of you and kate have nothing to say on the share itself so unless you have other posters to comment on the board is dead. be careful what you wish for. when we do decide to go this will be tumbleweed soup

i would worry about why they could not supply all the data for ce mark.....worry about if they will keep ce mark...worry about whetherthey abandon loss making CD4...worry about how long they are going to survive with cash burn etc etc
