harchris - in my opinion DA is not particularly interested in the SP until it affects him. to be fair it does not matter if he is running the company well as the sp will look after itself.

however as wilson says - i hope he is aware of SH feeling and that having been given enough rope unless he starts to deliver the agm will be a very tough ride

guess they had to rns as soon as they got the claim. was the timing unfortunate? maybe. on the other hand it didn't drop as much as it could due to the "possibility" of good news tomorrow, even though it was non new news the market could have done more damage.
personally i think a good presentation tomorrow and the battered sp could do a nice reversal. i hesitate to say this but the law of averages should say it is about time and good news is due!

also curious if bio have been waiting for tmrw just like the rest of us?

unfortunately in the context of his youtube interview - this is just more word salad.
ticks the boxes of flattering everybody and telling the shareholders what they want to hear without any real substance. OK it was an introduction and the other was his first public interview. however now we need some actual substance. if he tries to get away with flowery word salad tomorrow then i fear there will be SP carnage. i really hope he has 3 shredded wheat for breakfast.

there have been posters who have point blank said odx will not have to pay back the pre production payment.

they might not have to.....hell they may not even still be in business come the time.......but i think it is valid for even those who bury their head in the sand to at least question the possibility that they will have to pay it back.

However it would be nice to see MSM press headlines of gov tries to get claw back money from UK companies who did their best to help in pandemic ..potentially destroying them and losing UK jobs....whilst writing off billions in rubbish foreign contracts set up by their mates

The gov will go after the UK companies because it is easy and makes them look like they are being tough...when they have not a hope in hell chance of getting billions back for Chinese and Turkish sub standard gear.

I would agree with this. I suspect the gov tried to get NCYT to fork up some cash. NCYT think they have a strong case not to - product not returned / invoices not paid / offer to replace etc etc. So the gov have to either settle or make the claim.

i think unfortunately the uk companies are getting shafted because it has got out that billions were spent on rubbish/back handers etc etc. the gov will never get anything back from chinese or turkish companies etc but the uk ones are a soft target and by pursuing them the gov looks they are being stringent etc.

the gloves are finally off - ncyt can respond without looking the aggressor. so it should bring the dispute to a close though i am still expecting months of dragging it on.

the thing is the courts are not going to let this gov get away with stuff - because the spotlight will also be on them also.

in the meantime DA has to put his future plan in action - I would not be expecting much in the way of dispute disclosure or acquistions as some of the cash will need to be ringfenced just to be on the safe side.

well any future pandemic and the gov will sure find it hard to get the diagnostic industry behind them.

i suspect ncyt are more keen on trying to keep in dhsc good books for future products. the dhsc don't give a xxxx as they know if they want something from NCYT in the future - money talks.
i saw the rns headline and hoped it might be some good news - oh well. seems anything to do with dhsc always is a fiasco.

i suppose in one way it is good because at least it means they are going to be finally moving to a conclusion. i still think NCYT have a good case. were the products in question returned? ncyt have also offered to sort the issue out.

actually have said before that DAM would have been the perfect retail outlet for food intolerance tests - especially some of the london branches. however i think the price point would potentially be a stumbling block.

unfortunately the last 6 months have shown DA is not really bothered about SH - until it suits him. i suspect there wonn't be as much radio silence when his LTIP target dates are nearing - if the SP is struggling

oke - i have no doubt on the potential of food intolerance. Gut health will be an increasing thing in the future as more people become aware of the significance.
there are a variety of tests from my limited research. the hair test does seem a bit gimmicky - possibly a bit like the ancestry tests .....but the price point is low and i think some punters will think they are getting something more accurate than what they really are. already i have seen press articles on the dubious nature

i am expecting odx test to be a gold test - but does come with a diffferent price point. sure we would all want it but how many can afford it.

as always the rub is odx ability to sell ....i don't need to repeat my feelings on this

think the market just is waiting and seeing what happens.
i suspect the drop is just down to the low volume of sellers who have been burnt on previous presentations and not wanting to take the risk. understandable....but frustrating

i have to say my future in this share will be decided by the presentation. DA did not impress me at all in that youtube interview. happy to give him the benefit of the doubt until his big plan reveal. also happy with the resrarch by others on here discovering the potential in the background as well as great product/cash/bio interest and possibility of DHSC. however i have found out to my cost when you invest in a share you are investing ultimately in the CEO and how aligned he is with shareholders

oke - the food tolerance is an interesting one.
odx have quite an expensive one - there are a lot of cheap ones out there which seem to have a gimmicky reputation. I am assuming that odx have got a gold standard one again but at their price point they are really going to need to be able to sell it....the usa is prob a good target market - certainly much better than china... but again there is the challenge of overseas sales.
I would have thought their targetting of the middle east - they certainly would have the money - with their recent jolly/ exhibition ...should have produced some sales?

another company with a good sales and distribution network could do very well with the FT test - what I don't know is what the competition is like at that quality point. if someone did want the odx one in particular then waiting until they run out of money might a more profitable way of getting it
