if he is wrong then point out where he is wrong. tbh i don't think he is. i am not interested in his trading strategies or consistency in his posting etc. what is important is the validity of the post. does it hold water or not. is it a reasonable reflection of the facts we know

i find certain people on here like to muddy the water - accusing others of lying / being paid by some mystical boiler room / shorting / abuse others etc etc.
firstly it seems to be because they have no coherent counter argument secondly to try and dis credit the poster and therefore persuafe people that the reasonable argument should be ignored.

i have to say i am slightly nervous of DA presentation as i was not impressed with him last time. all rhetoric with the relebant buzz words but with little or no substance.
my hope is that there will be some good updates to counter the waffle.

really? you pick up on the most incredibly irrelevant things. if you don't agree with his points then put an argument across to counter.

doug - the only thing i would disagree with is the portfolio. it was very good which is what is so frustrating. covidtests / cd4 / food intolerance

i still think there is a good potential in food intolerance tests. i think gut health will become more and more important in health and well being in the future. what i don't believe in is ODX ability to monetise their product. they struggle to sell and have coherent strategies

My suspicion is that brutality has gone on both sides. It is war and no love is lost. The more brutal one side gets will feed the other.

Unfortunately the Ukrainian civilians are caught up in the mix. And that is doing a lot of damage..

Russia is looking worse and worse the more this war goes on.
I suspect they will start losing some support of China etc...whilst their human rights record is hardly something to write home about...they are going to get tainted with association with Russia.

I am really hoping the peace talks can finally crystallise next week

really? We do know from today's RNS that they have £1.5m in the bank and £2m overdraft that could potentially be removed at any time especially if the bank feel they will not be able to pay it back
possible £2.5m owed to the gov - whether you think they will have to pay it back or not - it is a risk as in dispute
cash burn of about £350k a month? going by last 3 months
their cash is reducing ....................

so traders opinion is quite possibly accurate.
the company have already stated they have financial challenges. why would there even be the question of getting rid of CD4 otherwise?

it is amazing how people on here can so easily call others liars etc - on pretty reasonable views....without providing a shred of evidence to the contrary

Relocate CD4 production to Ely £1.5m

without the placing the £1.9m to move from alva will need to come out of cash. I can see why they consider the loss making CD4 as a potential abandonment. they just don't have to cash to waste on something that makes a loss.

i wonder if the reality might have been that they did not want to spend more cash on the extra data needed for continuing CE mark - especially if they had not achieved any sales in 2 months.
i would have thought that a new covid contract would have been RNS worthy - I am no longer a believer in that no news is good news or busy busy busy where odx are concerned

never? i suspect russia will push to get the east of ukraine under control and then will go for peace from a stronger position. its supporters will start to press them more and more for an end to the war
the east will either be russian controlled or a waste land - in either case it will be a buffer that putin can claim as a victory.

ukrainian resistance has saved the country from being completely under russian control but they are suffering so much damage. at some point the west has to put pressure on them to go for peace.

reggie - in the letter to OSGA, ODX said it was loss making and they were contemplating abandoning it - hardly a jewel in any crown mate.
i know you work for nhs where they can afford to buy aspirin for £4 a packet compared to 39p in the local supermarket - but in the real world if something is losing money - and you can't get free money from anywhere - you dump it. profit 101

any news on the CTDA self test registration? you know the one you have been insisting that is happening? whilst calling me a liar when i said they had abandoned any CTDA applications

1) Revenue blah blah - but no indication of how much profit on food intolerance etc
just confirmation that the business is still losing money. Cash down to £1.5m from greater than £2.5m in January. so they have spent over a £1m in 3 months, cash burn still £350k a month? gives them max 4-5 months unless there is a change in fortune. how long before a placing is a must? what price now?

2) so they missed CE data deadline, kind of what i expected when they did not inform us of submission by RNS - they could not get anything right when they were focussed on covid tests let alone now when they have admitted they are out of the game. my expectation now is they will lose CE mark. very poor that the company were continual late and incomplete in approval applications. just shoddy.

it is about food intolerance in usa - they sold their batch in china - now probably being copied as we speak.

i honestly dont think there will be a buyout. the food intolerance test is not worth what someone would have to pay for the company.

kate - dam can only use odx pro tests in spain or mexico - unless they have opened new branches? there has been no notification of any self test contract with DAM. So there might be a very small demand. however would odx tests which are probably more expensive than accepted chinese competition in the first place and then have to be transported out be worthwhile when they can purchase tests in the dometic market of that country?

dam don't even specify whose tests they are using - so nobody is any the wiser on what is good or better etc
dam already have suppliers in the uk so don't need anything from odx

i really do not understand the fixation on odx and covid tests? the company themselves have said they are out of the game. i think you have to believe them when they say it.

they are now focussed on food intolerance.

The thing is the average punter does not know what a good test or bad one is.
So how are they going to know ?

Carley ..in the begining I would have agreed with you..but you will have a hard sell getting people to pay more for odx when the test they got from gov are £10 or less a box. They will be used to them as a brand and how to use them etc.

The thing is there also must be some doubts on how good the odx tests are if they never seem to pass any approval

Anyway academic if odx are not going to pursue the covid test sales strategy.
