saint - there is no point comparing NCYT to Avacta - we don't know how much is down to sentiment in their valuation - something we don't currently have. Their RNS do seem to indicate a desire to generate a bit of froth - i don't know how much substance there is behind it though and am not that interested

AVCT however have been quite clear on the direction they are pursuing - i dont know how feasible it is but SH can clearly decide if they like the story or not - again something which we don't have going by the last presentation.

Harchris - i agree the SP could be in limbo for awhile - as in my view the presentation lacked clarity of direction. That will not encourage buyers.
i believe the dispute will go on for quite some time - so doubt we will hear much on that front. My hope lies with a bio increase in their stake in NCYT

thanks oke - we didn't agree for a long time but you were always balanced and polite. You also always had a reasoned argument which was good as it made me look at both sides. It is a pity that ODX did not work out.

regardless of the spite on here - i do hope it works out for existing holders and they recoup their losses.
i don't want to see anybody lose money.

however i will continue to tell it how i see it. always happy to discuss the company with anyone who has a polar view to me - with a few exceptions that generally don't have any valuable input

we all gave jag "the tracksuit king" a chance - even though he never even introduced himself or his forward vision. however the complete contempt and non interest the new management have for SH is hard to disguise. i think they have pretty much shown that they will only communicate to SH if they really have to....it seems the SH are considered a nuisance rather than the actual owners of the company.

i agree the company do make life much harder for themselves - look at the whole "we dont need a placing".."anybody interested in some cheap odx shares?" fiasco. could they have handled it in a worse way? odx seem to have the supreme talent of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory

odx is indeed a very good learning experience for anyone thinking about aim

i am not sure a buyer knowing odx position is going to pay inflated book values.
they will just point out that odx are losing money on it - so it can't be that great.

it is either a good product that odx can't sell or not such a good product. either way odx don't look good

so they have been doing some work in the last few months after all......however their focus was on another placing (even though they know existing SH didn't want one - by voting down the last one) rather than selling anything. however fair play to them getting a placing done without anyone blowing the whistle on them. it seems they can learn lessons when they want to or maybe their wages depend on it

i see finnCrap have issued another "research note" - in other words been paid to write a lot of Cr*p to try and pump the SP along with the placing. i just skimmed it but it seems complete comedy gold in parts. no more china sales in 2022 but in 2023/4 it will increase?
they have 140 labs worldwide using food intolerance stuff - but very few sales. only 1 lab in usa - so huge potential..ummmm

interesting that the threat was that without the previous (voted down) placing they would sell or more likely dispose of CD4. fast forward a couple of months and we get the placing and still they are still "selling" CD4.

however looking at the placing funds plan - they will be using £1.2m of it for the divestment of CD4? I thought selling something meant you got cash in? it seems in true ODX selling style there is a strong possibility that selling it will end up costing more than they gain? my suggestion would be just switch the machine off and forget about it.

there is no doubt that USA is the top superpower (for now) but there are other super powers eg china and russia. there are various lists available and you can argue about the merits of the placings - but the reality is that the russian nuclear arsenal could potentially wipe out the usa

All usa riches won't mean a thing if they get nuked..so yes russia is a super power..they have the power to destroy pretty much anything they want. that is power

Russia could have ended Ukraine in 5 mins with nukes..not saying the west would not have retaliated..but then there would be no winners anyway. If you have the most or even 2nd most nukes in the world you are a super power. So that is clearly untrue

They have chosen a particular way to invade Ukraine and it clearly has not worked as well as expected. Now maybe they did not want to scorch Ukraine...otherwise what have you gained? But they clearly have the ability to fight this war in a much dirtier way at any time they choose. The issue is that the more the west helps the Ukrainians the more likely Russia will be tempted to fight dirty to save face

For sure they underestimated the Ukrainians and the support the west would give them whilst still not getting directly involved

With massive civilian support Ukraine might be evenly matched in body count. But they are still only in the war because of the weapons given to them by the west.

So in many ways it is a Russia v west..with Boden ready to fight to the last Ukrainian!
