panda - presumably if you can dabble in the stock market you have sufficient money to make ends meet even if food prices go up.
That is not everybody's reality.
food prices are starting to increase - and will get worse. add in the increases in fuel / gas / electricity and the knock on effect that will have in just about everything.
we still need to pay back the money spent during covid times....we will end up paying more tax to fund ukraines war effort. if / when the war ends boris will happily look good by paying for the repair of the war zone - well it won't come out of his pocket.
the longer this goes on the more we will all ultimately pay

there needs to be peace - to save more lives directly and indirectly with the poverty around the world as a result of this conflict

freddie - if you believe in the odx story..it might be worth a punt at this price...because the bod will presumably try to pump the share so that their bucket shop mates can flip at a profit. lets face it they will want to keep them sweet should there ever be a need for additional placings in the future
you can buy cheaper than their warrants now and if you don't get too greedy you could possibly make a bit of profit before any significant rise gets sold into or shorted.

it is by no means advice - can odx still pump the share or have too many beeen burnt? the warrants could lead to shorting over 4p..etc etc
odx is currently still not for me...but if you can play the aim game some coin could be had

Jon...they will lay the blame on the gov..though odx signed a contract that not only did they not understand but there was no minimum guaranteed for being on standby.

freddie - the company have said they expect no more income from covid - that ship has sailed
the cd4 is making a loss of £300k and they are trying to get rid of it.
there is no deal for future production on these at alva...i really think you should listen to what the company is telling you

kate - i don't often look at a posters history - but when i just looked at yours..of the last 10 posts you made 9 were addressed to me!....and one mentioned me....so you have never stopped mentioning me. ...actually i can count the number of posts i have made in the last 6 months that you have not pounced on - with one hand....quite a feat when you clearly have almost nothing to say on odx. and by your own admission i hadn't responded for several days....so you were doing it with absolutely no provocation

a company should not rely on one customer - no matter how lucrative. yes if they had got some of the cash it would have been transformational...but there were plenty of other opportunities if they had not just put their feet up.

the securing of CE mark and selling in europe should have been started even before the gov contract was awarded. there was always a doubt on how long the pandemic would be around for due to possible vaccines and cures.
NCYT got a gov contract and still went out and got other business. they got even more shafted by the gov but are still making a profit.

the elephant in the room is that odx cant seem transfer a good portfolio into sales. it suggests that there is a weakness in management and sales team - if there is one?
they are seemingly also not strong on contracts or strategies other than getting placings under way

£60m cap would be 26.p ish ..however further dilution would mean that it would be a lower sp.

It is hard to see odx being worth £60m on current form

Mip...I hope you do get your cash back. I honestly wish the company (other than the bod) and shareholders a bit of luck and some good fortune. I am sure there are some pretty decent staff working there...and I never want to see investors lose money.

Mip...I think on a rare occasion I am going to agree with you..I wouldn't say it was a big big mistake but the dilution still came and at a much lower price. Guess people felt they had a right to object and hoped it might give the bod a bloody nose

It is a pity the action group did not manage to shake up or replace some of the bod. It just all went very quiet.

Trader..unfortunately I did not learn enough about odx in time to save me £10000s. And like you I take full responsibility...I pressed the buy button ..there was no gun to my head.

I got blinded by the gov contract...the lesson learnt is to read the contract fully...see the holes myself...and also not assume that because the gov awarded a contract that I don't have to do as much due diligence on the bod. I should have done much more research on their 30 years without seemingly making a profit.

I get people don't want to hear what the likes of you and I are saying...it is hard to admit that maybe you got it totally wrong and that the money has gone...but maybe it would be better to cut losses and try another share etc...just because it has dropped 97 per cent does not mean it will rise again

Casey...the open offer is a no lose for the board.
If people take up the shares then extra money to secure their wages for more time.
If people don't take it up..it has not cost the board anything personally...odx shareholders paid with cash balance...but they can say oh we gave lth a chance to average down at the same price as we offered placing.

Besides reading some posters on here there might even be some who average down at the higher cost!
