kate - i am going to let you into a little secret. to get your money back you need the sp to rise. you might want to think about putting a coherent argument as to why someone should invest in ODX. that way anybody reading might get the idea

I thought it was actually a very slick presentation. They both can talk well and actually avoid answering questions without missing a beat.

I suspect some new to ODX might be interested in the story

However, anyone who knows some of the history of the company would find lots of holes. My opinion is that

a) They are dreaming if they think that they will get back anywhere near what they have paid for CD4. It basically is a fire sale. The number of companies that have shown interest may bump up price a bit but it ultimately a loss making product. They have made zilch on all the money they spent on Alva and the company could not sell a test in a pandemic…..don’t believe they will suddenly become del boy
b) They avoided the subject of not putting their own cash in. Any previously held shares were presumably freebies and so the reality is they are putting £20k in from a relatively high (if not hugely underserved on performance ) salary. Considering they made a killing on free shares sold at 90p – this is poor. The old “closed” period throw in is bull. If it is going to be closed for most of the year – or at least until the next open offer- then load up now. If you don’t see value at 4p then how can shareholders expect to?
c) The company has been going for 30 years and is unable to make a profit. Alarm bells, they have had food intolerance since 2009 and still making pocket money. If the argument is that they are now focussed – then what the blooming heck were they doing before? Keep referring to an 80% increase on a covid year is manipulating poor figures
d) If they really think they have a case in the gov dispute – then after 6 months or so a counter claim should already be in. bear in mind this is the company that did not even know the contract had expired
e) Given up on covid -is that code for losing CE mark? Mind you Reggie will be still waiting for CTDA Thursday!
f) Love the mention of “wally brook” – why are they still paying for a non service? Besides the odd tweet on an RNS what have they dine besides alienate existing shareholders

If I was an existing shareholder I would be asking what has really changed in the company? Odx have been unable to make a decent profit from anything and seem to struggle with the basics like getting timely applications in and selling. Gut health will be bigger in the future but look at the potential there was in covid testing. Does a leopard changes its spots?

totally agree. it is great that some on here do the legwork and join the dots - but the company should be throwing a few bones!

of course it is!. i was invested for well over a year and regularly researched the company.......prob still do more reaerch out of interest in ODX than some of the existting holders!

i suspect that might be a natural reaction from many who have seen the crash from £1+ to 4p
i know some like reggie and kate (who think it is all going to plan and are still happy with their long term investment) find this hard to understand

agree with twatcher - they need news to be able to release it. The only news they produce these days is selling / giving up assets or failed deadlines for applications.

I think they need to show some progress since the last time they got the begging bowl out - in the presentation today - if they want to attract new investors/gamblers for the open offer

even the most loyal/blinkered existing SH will have a limit to how much they are willing to average down

Just curious what the "track suit king" will wear? will he make the effort?

My guess is that things were too unstable to use cash on a dividend. Who knows how long war will last and the difficulties that are to come. I am not sure poly cared too much about SH.

Tbh it is fair enough. If/when this war ever ends any share holders will have done very well at today's prices and have healthy dividends for years to come
