karen - unfortunately you are seeing monsters under the bed. i do not have an agenda but i do have a large holding in ncyt - and occasionally need to vent and hope to get answers to keep me holding. i suspect there are quite a few like me.

i had actually read that report before - just as i sat through DA's presentations / tv interview etc etc. i skimmed it this morning again as you suggested there was lots of information that i had been missing. there wasn't. just the same pages of word salad marketing glossary
As for sweeping statements - i think i have been a good deal more specific than DA!..lol

i read this forum to find things i missed or don't know. so would be very happy to be corrected if i am wrong. ncyt is becoming a much harder hold now that bio have also gone quiet since the presentation.

karen - you are much more researched on ncyt than myself and probably most on here. it is worrying if you also do not have the answers to the fairly basic questions i asked.

wilson - the problem is your link is from 31/12/20 and it seems that they were a lot more clearer and less word salad 2.5 years ago than under DA's current stewardship

in my opinion what people need is to identify NCYT immediately with a specific product. they achieved this with covid PCR test.

what is their test for GI?
what is the test for transplant?
what is the test for insect?

in my opinion that is why the SP is struggling
Who is going to invest when the clearest products are covid and the company has already said that revenue will peter out.

no specific products listed?
contrast with covid - where they have the whole portfolio of products specifically explained. you know exactly what is available and on offer.

maybe DA needs to read past the glossary of his "marketing for dummies" book.

well he failed in his previous position - he did not sell in significant amounts. so hardly a grade material
alternative options are it was a promotion for a mate and keep it in house or else they did not think they could get someone better in? lack of cash and prospects?

guess he has shown his is adept at getting a placing underway and diluting sh more than a homeopathic treatment - whatever the resistance.

valju - the thing missing is what the future strategy is? what target market and products now that covid threat has lessened considerably.

if DA was as decisive on things other than LTIP it might help

it is great to see that NCYT are still reactive and flexible eg monkey pox and the adenovirus/hepatitis link. however it is not good to be hoping for another plague to get the SP off the floor

remember odx saying how they noted that sh were disappointed with comms and the new improved odx would change all that?

tbh i do not think you will get any info on the dispute with dhsc - they will claim NDA.

going back to what i wanted from the word salad presentation that we waited months for - and did not get - a clear idea of the direction the company is pursuing in terms of product and potential market revenues.

DA came across very well on tv - clear concise to the point. he needs more of that in sharing his vision.
i would not vote for DA on his performance so far.

what are the facts freddie? enlighten us please as the majority have not got a clue what odx are doing to sell products - unless it is selling off (alva /cd4). i see 8 trades in 4.5 hours which is hardly upward pressure

if like me you have read twatcher's posts over the last year and a half - you will know he is very well researched on odx

i think disadvantage that the diagnostic companies have with the dhsc is that they all want future business.
so they try to do it the amicable way.
court cases will also take time and be expensive - so if it can be resolved before then better for everyone.

the problem is that the dhsc don't play fair.

in my view the case will boil down to two questions a) is the product useable? - it seems the product is being used and b) did ncyt make a reasonable attempt to rectify the issues that the dhsc had - the money set aside would suggest they did.

i have only one experience of sitting through a commercial court...the judge was excellent. his common sense prevailed and the bully boy lost. lets hope if it does go to court that we get someone similar

he has overseen the SP drop from 14p ish from memory ? down to where it is now

he can't even read the room....he cant be bothered to put a suit on when presenting to SH - some of whom have lost small fortunes

Why would a contract odx had with someone else ( Abingdon) have a bearing on a completely different contract with the gov ?

The gov didn't force odx to not sell anything to anyone else. It was only ever going to be for half their capacity. We were given the jam that they were going to be making a mint privately.

The thing is odx signed a really bad contract...no min..no guarantees...they didn't even understand the deadline.

They only have themselves to blame. Reading through it I can't see why they should not have to pay the money back as it was a pre production payment and they never produced anything.

joe - the more pertinent question would be with the increased dilution what mcap would odx have to achieve to get back to £1.20 so that anyone who bought in at that price could recoup their (paper) loss....by my back of fag packet calculation it is £270m.
of course any significant increase in sp would result in warrants being used and considerably more dilution which would of course considerably increase the mcap required

joe - i have no idea when odx would have to pay up by if the gov were successful in their claim. i suspect like you it would be a long time away but it has already been 6 months or so since the claim was submitted by the gov...if it takes 4 months to sell cd4 (which odx are budgeting for) that would bring it close to a year. i am not sure odx can afford to go to court with gov so it could potentially be resolved quicker than some of the other cases.

if you look at my wording - it says "not inconceivable" which I think is objective? as it indicates the possibility
i am not emotionally "invested" in odx - so i suspect i am probably much more objective than yourself
